It would appear that the elusive, properly formatted ordered 1000 number breakdown using Inspector 3 that I struggled with Tuesday night ......is now available in peach_picker's blog.

Pick 3 players are encouraged to check it out.

You are a fine fella Peach and you don't give up. Thanks for doing that. Now.....if you would just put in a thousand comma's so we can copy and paste at ...LOL

The only real failure .....is the failure to try.

Luck is a very rare thing....... Odds not so much.

Odds never change .....but probability does.

LOL Win D.... Think we might be able to talk Todd into adding that as one more additional option for Inspector 3?  LOL

Thanks a heap, Win D and emily. Glad to...

The problem with the blog entry happened because of the way that you highlighted the table of number when you coped it.  You have to be very careful to start the highlight directly on the first character, and stop the highlight exactly on the last character.

What you're doing (behind the scenes) is copying and pasting the underlying HTML code, and when you're not precise, you're either including extra code, or not including enough.  Then, when it is rendered on the page, it comes out looking funky.

Thanks, Todd, for that very detailed explanation. Knowing now what you've told me, I would expect to have a lot less trouble the next time.    (And btw, I cetainly hope you know that I was only joking with Win D about adding a "comma's" option.)

Todd,  these two system tools you've created have been real gems, and I can't thank you enough for adding the duplicate removal options for Inspector 3.

Any chance that you might consider marketing either Deflate 3 or Inspector 3 as offline programs sometime in the future??

And I forgot to point out this in my explanatory comments Tuesday night: When I used that 3000 number front, back and side pair ranked list for my original input Monday night, Inspector 3 alerted me to several different instances where I had accidentally failed to leave spaces between numbers (e.g., keying in 504 514 524 534544).

Thanks to Inspector 3's pointing out my specific data entry mistakes, I was then able to correct those errors I had been unaware of in the original input, before proceeding with the inspection.

Deflate 3 has also been invaluable in alerting me to key-errors that I didn't realize I had made in my input data.  Unbalanced tiers in the output or an otherwise totally unexpected output has told me...."uh-oh, something's not right here." Then I'm able to use Deflate 3's output data to help pinpoint where my errors are.

            I love 'em!

I appreciate that, Rick. It's truly been a labor of love.

It'll be worth every second, in the long run, I'm sure.

Glad I could be of some help!

                  Peach,

I'm really happy that you're finding the tools useful, and that they're helping your input as well.  Thanks for letting me know!

I don't have any immediate plans for a stand-alone product, but who knows?  I've actually come up with a few different ideas for the not-so-distant future, but can't talk about them yet!

Thanks for all the feedback, Todd. It sounds like you're at least open to the possibility of offering Inspector and Deflate as stand-alone products in the future. Glad to hear!

I'm looking forward to whatever surprises you have in the works for us here at LP.  I wonder, where would I be, had I never found your site? What a positive difference, I'm convinced, my membership here will ultimately have made in my life, when all's said and done.   :)

And, on a lighter note  LOL, thanks tremendously for cleaning out the blog entries, per my request.  Much appreciated!

Your welcome.  Behind the scene, I also added an experimental piece of coding which may help cut down on the number of glitches that happen with cut and paste of tables.
