They are neck and neck again.  Which will be won first?  Which one will grow faster.  Could we get them both to $100 mills at the same time?  haha

I think powerball will be won first. Even though they are neck and neck, MM's cash value is higher. I think Powerball might pull away by Dec 25th drawing. But MM I think will get to atleast $150mill this run.

I like the horse-race concept, which is one of the things I like about seeing Mega Millions and Powerball info side-by-side at USA Mega.

I wish both were higher than NY Lotto.

Well, like clockwork Powerball had a winner!!! So it looks like Mega Millions will take the lead by a wide margin.

And Powerball did it again, they didn't announce that they didn't have a winner untill tonight's draw!

I stand corrected! Three winners from PB (one in Arizona, one in Nebraska, and one in Pennsylvania).

The only race I'm wondering is when someone can fix these games. I doubt either will hit 100 by March. The fact that 3 people won 10 million - wow I could win more with a decent state lottery. One wonders if the people running these games even care what the sales numbers are.

Well the fact that three people won has to do with the set of numbers that all came up.  The first five were all below 31.  Hence birthdays.  And the Powerball was also low so just made more opportunities for winners.  They will hit 100 by March.

This proves once again that the lotteries are not rigged.

The PA winner(s) had to be 18 years old; Nebraska, 19; Arizona, 21.
