Due to a very small minority of people who are determined to be a nuisance, I have been forced to add a new rule.

Most people will be totally unaffected by this, but please check your profile to be sure.

The new rule is listed on the Rules page (the link to the Rules page is in the left nav and in the Resources menu).  Here it is:

  • Do not input a false location. It is manditory that you provide an accurate Country when you register, and in your profile. If you choose to input a City/Location in your profile, it must be your actual location, not a false location designed to mislead others about where you are from.

If I see that someone has entered a false location I will send them a note to change it.  If they don't correct it I will have no choice but to suspend their account.  Like I said, most people will have no problems; it's the very small number of people who are trying to be underhanded who will have a problem.

Todd: I will abide by your rule about posting one's true location.  I had no intention of being underhanded by posting different fictitious humorous sounding town names.  Some members actually LOL and tell me they like the names.  But, I think I understand why you must enforce that rule.

Personally, I don't care where anyone on this site is from and, by the same token, I don't care for internet friends who I don't really know in person, to know where I live, anyway.  So, the main reason we converse here is to share ideas about winning at various lottery games.  I respect your position and agree that everyone should follow your rules.  Thanks, Todd. You have created a great site and it dosen't need to be spoiled by a few.  I look forward to continuing my posts and developing good online relationships here. Thank you. PS: I really like the 149 boxed tonight.

Texasman:  This is defintely not aimed at your humorous names; there is nothing wrong with what you have done!  If you want to keep doing it, that's fine with me.  I have a real problem with people who are intentially trying to deceive people, which is why I needed to do this.

Well, I sent you a private message, hoping to resolve this with you in private, but since you chose to post your reply on the public forums, I have no problem with that either.  (Your signature line of RESPECT IS ALWAYS GIVE NOT NOT ALWAYS RECEIVED is quite ironic in this situation.)

Your IP address of 205.144.127.200 resolves to Conseco, Inc. in Noblesville, Indiana, not Philadelphia.

There was really no need to insult me by implying that I don't know what "Philly" or "Philadelphia" are.

You are new here, and you have not made a very good impression so far.

Well, rules are rules but my country is different than the one I'm in now. I suppose the country field is used to indicate the 'origin' of a person. Right now, I look like I'm from UK but I'm from Greece actually and I would like to be able to state that. What about this case Todd?

If you have something to do, at least do it well...

Oh, OK...Sorry, Todd.  I just thought I was the major offender. But, now I see that I am not.  Thanks for clearing that up.

I agree with the new rule. "Todd Rules"  Anyway, I went and looked at my profile and I just had Texas, so I added my little ole town of Cat Spring.  I know, it is a funny name but it has something to do with a spring and a cougar or some type of cat.  Go figure why people settle on names for towns.  Hmmmm, maybe I need to write a book.  Seriously Todd, you do what you have to do and we shall abide.

I totally agree Todd, I don't mind saying that I'm from Houston Texas. Also when i check on predictions made by members I like to know if they are playing the numbers they post(with exception to some of my dear post friends:Dude, Lucky, Bluegrass to name a few) who are just terrific predictors. Abiding by this new rule should not cause a problem for anyone.............Joy

You're all correct: abiding by the rule is simple!  If you don't want to put anything for Location, that's fine.  But if you do put something there it needs to be correct.

apagogeas: There's lots of room in your profile to put all kinds of info about where you're from, etc.  I would prefer that the location and country areas be designated for your ACTUAL country and location, and then you can put whatever you want in all the other places.  Again, the only thing that is required is country.  Location is optional.

it's a simple rule, simple enough to follow.

Now...can we just get a rule to require posting of only the winning numbers for the lotteries???

                              does my location count?

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.
