As many of you know, I have been playing all states at .com

I am trialing a new theory that I feel will point me in the right direction when playing the lottery.

Today my thinking was that a root of 2 or sum of 11 (preferably both root and sum) would occur in the midday draw only.

It did pay off!!!!

Illinois 677 (my hit)  root of 2

Tri states 704  (root 2; sum 11)

Indiana 803 (root 2; sum 11)

I will see what the evening draws have in store for us to see if this is worth investigating more.

I'm back.

I feel that the evening draws will bring about a root of 5 and/or a sum of 14.

I haven't quite decided where I want to place California in all of this.

Will have to do further investigations on this.  Maybe someone else has a theory on that state.

My thinking is that it will a root of 2 or sum of 11 is due in that state.

I came up with this theory last night after the evening draws.  I sat on it and you would not believe how many numbers fell while I sat and watched them fall (without making a cent) with tears in my eyes.

Not going to let that happen today.

I used calidude's 220 unique inspector 3 results to find numbers to play within my targeted range

CT lottery draw was 249 (sum of 15) but I hadn't thought about them.  Does anyone know what time their drawings are?

I'm at work so I can't go too far in depth at the present moment.

Since CT can only be played in the evening on I hadn't given them a thought until tonight

Hey there lottaloot, cuts off at 10:14PM. I used to play the run down of sums but since I started tracking I began to zero in on fewer #'s with more hits. But I really hope that this works for you. !\$!\$

In the beginning post, I can swear that I posted where the root and sums chart was that I was using.

But I will be kind since it's Chritsmas Eve and tell you again that you have to do a search of 220 inspected and look at Califdude's psot.

Oh Laverne, I hope you know that I'm following you and primarily playing doubles.

That's where the money's at.

BTW: I was speaking of the early drawing for CT.

The numbers at the top (in red) are the sums (ones digit only).  There are 10 columns of 22 numbers for a total of 220 box numbers.  The doubles are in YELLOW, triples in RED, and the series numbers are in GREEN.

Root Sums are done by adding the digits together until you get just ONE digit.  So, 455 = 14 = 5.

So, you see that when someone says they are predicting 2 or 3 Root Sums they are covering a LOT of numbers and if they are predicting for all states...well there are 55 Pick 3 picks each day (except Sundays), so that is now HUGE!  They should get a lot of hits!!!!  The same thing happens with pairs.  Many people list 19 or 20 pairs to hit during the next week....well DUH!!!  Each pair is 10 numbers.  They have covered almost every number, but people will still give them a "WTG!" when they hit one!!  These are the things that keep me laughing when I read some of those posts!

I totally agree with the above.

You have to spend what is reasonable to you.  I myself plan of playing 13 states tonight with a max of 11 numbers total for a max total of 35.75.

Though I am thinking of decreasing those bets down even further to cover all highs or all lows vs all evens or odds.

You don't have to spend a bundle to play.  And if you're not cheap (like me) you can do pretty good.

BTW: I hit the 677 straight for a quarter= 225.00
