I'm new to this website and i think that the site and all you people are just the greatest thing ever. I'll be honest with everyone i am just a kid i'm 19 but in RI you only have to be 18 to gamble so i've really been turned on by the whole lottery bit i absolutely love it. Before i found out about any of these lottery systems or programs i actually manually by hand (last summer 2004) wrote down and figured out which digits hit most.....i came up with 1-0-3-7 and i hit that 4 digit combo about 4 times last summer.........not straight but in anycase......Is there actually a system out there that helps predict which numbers are going to hit next? or are all you people just extremely smart and have ways of figuring it out yourself? I've been trying to make sense of this all lately..........If anyone could email me @ WillRigney85@hotmail.com or Wrigney_7061@RIC.edu or just reply here with any useful info or links that'd be great.....Merry Christmas to all

Will, Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!! I welcome you the best lottery site with the best webmaster on the net.
You have done alot by hand for your passion. It must be extremely important to you. Just be careful and don't bet more than you can afford....that is the #1 rule for the people in here........you must not forget that.
If you do a search in the Pick3 forum, you should find some good system ideas. There are all kinds of them around. Blackapple has one of his root sum system posted today, actually...........you might want to take a look at that.
I wish you luck in your quest for the lottery.

Welcome to Lottery Post Will.
Chew your way through this site and http://www.lotto-logix.com/
Ask here about any systems you might think about buying. Keep in mind there is no system or software known to date that plays at a profit over time. Some may be helpful tracking the numbers, presenting patterns and such are often available at no charge. In the end picking the winning number comes from you, either you can see winning numbers coming like a train down the track (and improve on that skill) or you can't and should find another hobby.

You are all very cool people for many reasons....The reason that i think you're all the best already is because a lot of people out there would totally turn me off from something like this because of my age but i'm so glad to have been welcomed in this way......I Will definitly check out all of these systems..And as far as the rule of not spending a lot.....I only spend on average like 3 or 4$ per day at most.......So no one has to worry about that....but thanx all.......

Welcome to Lottery Post
Age is not a problem here as long as you are old enough to gamble. I started studying systems by hand too, thats a good start.
Hope to hear more from you soon.

Will, Welcome to Lottery Post. There a a ton of different ideas, systems and tips in the forum and you can use the search feature to dig them up.
If you are doing well with your current system (and 4 box hits in pick 4 is a real indication of that for a newbie), then stick with it, check the forums for additional strategies and build on YOUR system.
When I first started a few years ago I was hitting more frequently than I am now. Too much knowledge and analysis can muddy your results so stick with different things that work for you and keep them in a notebook for future reference to go back to and re-visit during the slow times (and this game is streaky so be prepared for that and don't get frustrated).
And I would not spend any money for any systems as Bob P mentioned. They will not help you to win any more than your own trial and error will.
Being 19 is not a hindrance, more likely a help because you will be more open for new things to try.
It's a fun game and a great website with lots of helpful tools available. Good luck and many wins to you.
