Virginia is one of three states selling Lotto South.

no. lotto south is a fixture in those 3 states because that's the only way (other than) multi-state games, and it offers a better chance to make someone a multi-millionaire.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

VA administers the Lotto South game. Lotto South is basically the same as Lotto Virginia (if you remember it), they just changed the name when they let GA & KY sell it too.

Lotto VA was already a 6/49 when it became 6/49 Lotto South.

FYI, it started as a 6/44 (i think). It lasted from 1989 until about 2000/2001. Then it went to 6/49 (and added 'Virginia' to it's name). Then just a year later, in an unprecedented move, they made their in-state lotto game a multi-state lotto game.

Funny that is stayed at 6/49 when it became a multi-state game.

Hope the Michigan-Ohio partnership becomes a reality.

I'd like to see more multi-state alliances.

How about MA-NJ-NY (contiguous states with Mega Millions)?
