Hello Friends,

I am working on my glossary and decided to include V-Tracs. It was then that I discovered that there is very little info out there about them.

I know that they are digit pairs;

4/9 V-Trac 1

3/8 V-Trac 2

2/7 V-Trac 3

1/6 V-Trac 4

0/5 V-Trac 5

And that they are meant as a means for positioning.

What I don't know for the record is;

Who created V-Tracs? and When?

The more background and/or info you can give me the better. They are more of a method than a filter per se as far as I can tell.

Thanks,

    For 1 thing u have them backwards..05 is vtrac 1 ..and the vtrac 5 is 49.  I have heard several stories but ..but none actually about the originator of this idea. I have heard some vague reference to K. Scott Piel who also made the program lottoman back in 93-94 etc but there is no more info out there. (This was through general conversation) I have also heard that vtracs originated from the old coded system of numbers....It is just another method of play..Go to http://www.cashthree.info and click on the vtracs link.

    If you know your number is going to hit, have patience and then KILL IT!

    You never know when you will get another hit.

      Fair Description?

      V-Tracs - ex; 0|5-1|6-2|7-3|8-4|9

      V-Tracs are labeled 1 thru 5 and represent the pairs of digits seen in the above example. Using the V-Trac 143, for example, would represent;

      0 3 2

      5 8 7 or the numbers, 032-037-082-087-532-537-582-587

      It's exact origins, like so many others, are somewhat lost to time. It may

      have been first used by one K. Scott Piel circa 1993-94 in the Lottoman

      Lottery Software. It's use as a filter is questionable since there are too

      many V-Tracs to make an intelligent choice. Thus it's use would be more

      suited as a selection method.
