  Where's the digit 2 this year in the IL. Pick Three? It hasn't come up in any position at all this year. 13 drawings total. Does anyone know if that's a record or seen anything like this before? What are the odds? I'll be looking for it this weekend.

  So what combination are we looking for with the number 2 in it?

  The 2 in Ill must have run off with the 1 in Quebec...

  It too has been out for ages..

  Fast Eddie,

  I have been following the 2's since Jan. 04.  A little background is in order.  The 2 was the very hottest digit played from 1/1/98 through most of 2003.  So it is natural that it will be playing less than it has in the past.

  However, the 2 was the VERY COLDEST number in the first 3 months of this year (so cold that the hotter numbers were passing it up in a 100 draw history and I thought it would be impossible for it to catch up).

  Since mid-year it has made a tremendous comeback to become the hottest of the "cold" numbers.  We will see this happen with the digit 7 in the next few months.

  I would not rule out the 2.  Since I've been playing this game in IL the digits 2 and 8 are either real hot or real cold.  No in-between for these two digits.

  My pick for the digit 2 today is is in the evening as 232.

  IL. Midday winner was 972. Even knowing that the two was coming I still managed to miss it.
