Yea I'd like to learn how to use Excel correctly to. I wanna narrow the wide boxes, so I don't have to mouse far left/far right.

Hmm I should read my Microsoft Word/Excel books lol, or check Google.

                Honey Bee

I work with excel and may be able to help you.  What do you mean by not staying in color?  Do you mean in the printing or when you look at it on your desktop?   Once you type a number in a cell in color and then go to the next cell, the color goes off and to my knowledge won't stay on.  If you want more than one number in color, to my knowledge (which may be limited), you will have to select/highlight all the numbers you want in color and then go the the color chart on the tool bar and select the color you want the numbers.  If you want more info on doing this let me know.  Or if this is not what you talking about let me know that too.

                For the narrow margin question.

To narrow or widen a column, you will need to sit on the very top of the diving line, say between column A and B.  You should get a black plus sign, this will let you move the line closer together or farther away.  If this is not what you mean, then let me know.

                OP

Ahhh there we go. It worked! Thanx OP

PS. About the numbers that originally appear on the left side going downwards, can I delete the numbers and put in my own numbers or letters? Same question for the original letters that appear on top going across. Thank you much.

Thanx. Is there a way to lessen the width for all columns at once? So far I seem to be able to only do one at a time.
