  I have finally finished work on an all-new Private Message inbox and folders.

  This is really cool stuff, that now provides the ability to organize your private messages into folders that you create.

  Platinum members can create up to 50 personal storage folders, and can move private messages in & out of them.

  This is great for Platinum members, since Platinum members can store up to 2000 private messages - now they all don't have to be in your Inbox.

  For example, create a new "Systems" folder, and move all your PMs regarding systems into it.

  Also, the whole look & feel of the private message system has been revamped, providing a more modern and usable interface.

  The new features use Dialog Boxes for the first time, which makes everything more more friendly and quick.  For example, when you create a new folder, a dialog box collects the information, rather than jumping to a new web page.

  Lastly, when you're viewing a private message, you can now jump immediately to the next or previous message in your box by clicking Next or Prev.

  Please take a look and let me know if you have any feedback, and definitely let me know if you uncover any bugs.

  Oops, just fixed a bug which was stopping the dialog boxes from opening.  It's working now.

  Neat stuff!! ... now if you change the 'Username' to accept any e-mail addy then we could use it as our regular Web Mail  .... what's the MB limit? 

  Geez, if I'm gonna post cracks like this I better go Platinum, eh? 

   

  PS all looks good Todd, I like the prev/next feature, very good improvement.

  Yeah, I'm trying to get you to go Platinum!

  There's no MB limit, it's based on the number of messages (Platinum members can keep up to 2,000 messages in their box).

  Soon, I'll be adding another Platinum feature which lets you archive your old messages.  This will download the messages to a file on your PC.  So, you'll be confident that you'll never lose your private messages, plus it basically eliminates the problem of a size requirement, because if you run out of space, you just archive your messages to make more room.

  I am liking it, Todd................one reason I went to Platinum was that storage capacity in the PM's.  I get a lot of them............and I keep a lot of them............so the folders are a great idea......

  I agree - I keep a lot of PMs, and I personally love the new storage folders.  That way when (for example) people send me ideas, I can move them into a separate folder, so anytime I am looking for a new idea, I can find all the messages in one place.

  How do you like the new Dialog Boxes?  I personally find them to be really cool.
