It's the best place to post your picks so others can inspect, deflate and see tabulations of their results.

I agree with Todd that complaints about the prediction board are invalid.

Posted 4/6:  IL Pick 3 midday and evening until they hit:  555, 347 (str8).

    Rick G:

THANK YOU.  It is so incredibly delightful to hear good things posted, instead of all the negative remarks that people have been posting lately.  I tell you, sometimes I'm wondering why anyone is coming here at all, with all the negative comments.  It is very depressing to have to lock threads, delete bad comments, and constantly defend why things are set up a certain way.

It's really nice to see your positive comment, and defending Lottery Post from negativity.  I need the help in defending it!!

I agree.  I used to think it was too hard, but I noticed that I can copy and paste without having to put the dashes between digits when doing Pick 3 or Pick 4.  That makes it really easy because I already have them in an Excel spreadsheet.  So I just copy and paste!  The prediction page is where I'm doing all my predicting now.

I might also add that since Maybell's died, we had no such venue on the internet to have our posts tabulated, crunched etc.  That was a year of withdrawal for me and I truly appreciate that Todd filled the void left from Maybell's.

        Thank YOU, Sir!

I don't find the prediction page hard just time consuming.

Todd, is there anyway to add a line at the bottom of the post prediction screen with a drop down menu that has a 1-7 to represent the days you would like this set of numbers to be good for. That way you don't have to cut and paste if you want them to stay the same for a couple of days or for the whole week. That would speed up the process a little bit.

          Thanks,

          D_A

Yes, that is certainly possible, and sounds like a good suggestion.

You find that I respond very well to suggestions - there's a bunch of people here who can attest to that.  I can't make anything better unless I hear a suggestion or two about it, so I am always grateful for suggestions.

There have been a number of complaints lately, rather than suggestions.  This is counter-productive.  Rather than to complain, it is much better to do what you just did: make a suggestion.

I like the perdiction page it take's me back to Maybell's.  The only suggestion I have is some states have Front-Back-and Split on there pick-3 can you add this.

              THANKS

Maybe also a drop down of states or a place to check off the states you would like the predictions to go to, instead of just the "all" selection. That way you could post the same numbers for a "handful" of states...

                    Thanks, keep those suggestions coming.

On the pairs thing, we -- the whole forum -- voted on how to do the matching for statistical purposes, and we decided not to do pairs, because most people don't play pairs, and because there was inconsistency from state-to-state.

gilla's suggestion has been mentioned before, and will dventually make it in there.

I have a to-do list about 10 feet tall, so for each of these things I try to prioritize where they fit in that list.  So they probably won't be there tomorrow, but I will work them in at some point.  And, like all other new features, I'll announce when they're ready.

I  like the idea of multiple days when posting picks for a draw or state.

Yup, that's on the list also.  I could have used it this week myself.

A lot of good suggestions, but a winner is still a winer, and a loser is not!
