Daily Number and Cash 5 will remain the same. But there will be some changes to the other games.

Big 4:

Big 4 will offer Straight/Box and Combo plays.

Match 6:

The price will be lowered to $1, and the matrix will change to 6/55. This will effectively double the odds, and therefore allow the prizes to stay the same while lowering the price. A annuity option will also be offered in addition to the cash option.

Super 7:

PA's original big jackpot game is back, replacing Lucky For Life. It's matrix will be 7-11-77 and will be just $1. And will have prizes for matching 3 or more numbers. Drawings on Monday & Thursday. The estimated (pari-mutuel) payouts follow:

  • Match 3-$2
  • Match 4-$15
  • Match 5-$250
  • Match 6-$5,000
  • Match 7-Minimum $2,000,000 Annuity

Advertising:

Powerball will only be advertised on the website and at point of sale so Match 6 and Super 7 can be more aggressively advertised on TV and Radio. Maybe we can work Gus into online game ads as well as instant game ads.

Drawings:

We will start to draw Daily Number and Big 4's midday drawing with ball machines, which will be broadcast on the internet as it always has. Cash 5 and Match 6 will be drawn with new Criterion II machines. Super 7 will be drawn with the Halogen.

Your Super 7 presumably would have a cash option, which the real S-7 never had.

one small problem with the big 4 idea. players purchase 2 $0.50 straight tickets instead of a $1 straight ticket because the stores only pay out prizes up to $2500. a 50/50 big 4 play on one ticket would make for the player having to go to one of the lottery offices in order to claim their prize if they hit straight.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

Well, SC and GA offer those options for their Pick 4 games. And I don't see anybody complaining.

that's because the retailers may be able to cash tickets higher than $2500.
