Todd,

I just noticed that when a double is inspected, the digit is recorded as one occurrence instead of two in the key numbers section.  I didn't check the triples yet but I would guess they would only get one occurrence registered instead of three.  Is that intentional?

Thanks.

Todd,

I see you've been on-line for a while since my question, so maybe, once again, I didn't make myself clear.

Are you considering a key digit as a single digit in a pick whether it comes in two or three times?

In other words 664 = one 6 and one 4 ?

That's all I'm asking.

That doesnt make sense at all RickG. in fact that could really throw off finding the hottest numbers.....good eye, i never noticed that.

Thanks Justin,

I'm sure there is a programming error or an intentiontal reason for doing it that way in which case I'd be interested in knowing the rationale..  I haven't heard back yet about it from Todd.

My needs are to see how many total times a digit has hit in x amount of draws.

Rick,

"Online" doesn't neccesarily mean "looking at screen".

If you read the instructions at the bottom of the Inspector3 page, you'll see it says:

The Key Number classification tabulates if the number contains a key number in at least one of the digits.  e.g., 1-2-3 contains the key number 2, but the number 4-5-6 does not.

The Key Number feature is working as intended.  It is not counting the number of times a digit appears, it is saying what percentage of the combinations contain the Key Number.

OK, Todd...But I wanted to know how many times the digit came in during x amount of draws not how many draws that digit appeared in.

That's OK, I can do it on my own.

OK, I understand, but that's the first time anyone has requested that.  The various things that Inspector3 examines tie in directly with the filters that can be used in Deflate3.

I'll put a number-counter on the to-do list.

Thanks, Todd....I understand that your programming is very involved especially tying things together, so you have to do what you think is best.  I like a "conundrum" and will always try to figure how to make it work out.  As I always say, "There's more than one way to skin a cat" and I hope my friend Emily G is not taking that too literally (I'm a big cat lover).

Number crunching is my bag and it sounds like yours too.  The more challenge, the better and no matter how we get there, as long as we get there it's all good.

Thanks!

Rick,

If it will help I have all of the most drawn numbers, most drawn pairs (straight and boxed - all of them) and the amounts that each number was drawn in the first position. Did that make sense? I have been up since 0300 and the words are running together. I have the list for Illinois, it starts 01JAN04 and ends as of tonight. Let me know what ya need and I will get it to ya. If you want, I will send you the excel form that they are in. I cant post it here so I will need your hotmail account or something.

Thanks GoArmy...the history I use is small so I can use Todd's numbers and add the double digits.

But I do appreciate your offer.

Keep on kicking the lottery's butt...you're doing a great job!
