Hello everyone!

I put together a utility which allows unattended generation of lexicographic combinations using Lotto632.EXE, which is part of Pick632 package offered by Ion Saliu at http://www.saliu.com.

The program is a WSH script written in VBScript. It emulates user keyboard key strokes and defines Lotto632.EXE parameters automatically at run-time by way of command-line parameters. In other words, it allows running multiple strategy files in one shot as a batch job. It can be executed from the command prompt or a batch file.

I use this tool on a regular basis (it saves me a lot of typing) and hope that it will be useful to other players. The concepts used to build this tool can also be applied in automating other tasks such as UI unit testing or back testing lottery strategies.

The tool is work in progress, so your comments and suggestions are welcome!

By the way, o axiomatic ones. There are questions such as this one from a very knowledgeable user of LotWon software:

What we  Lotwonistas need is a board where we can throw ideas around. The Proboard you once had seems to have closed down and should be reopened if possible. You dont need to contribute as it is time consuming. I often find when I post ideas on Lotwon I get lots of Private messages for advice. A centralised board for us would be of benefit to all of us and to the name of Lotwon. Here is an idea you may or may not know. It is based on Bayes multiplication rule(law). He was a clergyman here in England who lived around the 1700's and strangely enough is buried in a graveyard about 10 minutes walk from where I work. Briefly the rule tells you the probability of forecasting a number of random dvents. Assume 6 dvents and each has a probability of 92% then your chances of forecasting the total of these dvents is around 72%. (ie .92*.92*.92*.92*.92*.92). Taking this idea into Lotwon you create up to 20 D6 files. You search for filters which are above or below the median 4 times in the previous consecutive draws.

The ProBoards BBS (Reason - Gambling) has always been open. I was unable to post because I lost my login info! I asked for my password, but the replies had been sent to  ion@saliu.com. I had closed that account a couple of years ago. At one point, the Inbox contained over 10,000 messages (ten thousand plus)! So I had no clue how to login to my own forum!

I reopened @saliu.com for an hour and received my lost login info at Proboards. I am able to login again. Ill make an announcement soon at Proboard.

No, I wont post often. I want to take care of some urgent business first and foremost.

The mysteriously close(d)ly open forum has been always located at:

Best of luck to all of you who dont take losing for an answer!

          Ion,

I am glad to hear from you regarding this; there seems to be no interest in this topic among the members of this forum. Thank for your remarks about the script! I am very flattered. I would love to make the script work on other platforms if I there are people out there who are interested in using it.

I agree with the comments of the unnamed LotWon user one hundred percent. There is definitely a need for a forum dedicated to LotWon. I have seen the board you mentioned but never went back there because it appeared to be dead.

I wonder if thornc will be interested in participating&
