Well I thought I might as well toss in my two cents worth:

I like the Pick 3.

I have played off and on since 1990.  Have gone through several different software programs. Once again they all ususally gave me too many numbers. A few years ago I set up a group of the hottest combinations for Florida. At the time I was doing something similar to what Bluegrass was doing at the time. If I remember how he said he did his, was trying to determine a hit date by digit frequency. But his list was rather large.

So I tried to catch a hit from my list of combos. My list was good for an average of approximately 9 hits a month. This was in the state of Florida. The problem was knowing when to bet. On paper it would work out fine but let me buy tickets and it all went out the window.  So I walked away and let it ly.

In December of 2003, I again dusted off all my all record sheets and started again, I set a limit of 50 combos max crunched some numbers and set back and watched. My criteria was a combination (unmatched) had to have hit at least 3 or more times in the last 370 days, with at least one hit in the last 120 days.

Again this list was good for 9-10 hits a month.  I had a few hits but again timing was all.   I got busy with other things and let it drop about this time last year.

A couple of weeks ago I once again decided to try it again.  I took my old list and looked at the stats for Dec. 2004 and up to the date in January, last month. It still showed pretty good hits.

I didn't bother to crunch any numbers but decided to just split it into even and odd sets and the I would only have four decisions to make:

  1. Odd number with 1 repeated digit.

  2. Odd number with no repeats.

  3.  Even number with 1 repeated digit.

  4.  Even Number with no repeats.

So far with the right choice from the above list - I would have had 16 hits for the first 50 days of this year.

Now I have just started to research the hit records of this list with the intention of updating it .

Well, if you have watched Florida for the last week or so you could have determined when I bet and when I forgot to buy tickets.

2-08  513  on my list did not bet.

2-09  783  Bet but this was not on my list

2-10    044  Bet but a double

2-11    322      "

2-12    442      "

2-13    863  Overslept and didn't buy tickets cost me $290.

2-14    554  Bet and once again a double.

2-15    774      ditto

2-16    414      ditto

2-17    534  In my Pool but did not bet. Would have missed

I decided to take a breather and scrape up some more MAD money.

I would also like to appoligize to everyone that bets in Florida. You can blame me for this. Don't expect any reimbursement for loss of funds.  It seems to be my destiny. Don't buy - would win, buy and it's a double.

I have to run for now. Got to buy some tickets for tonight's Cash 3 and Fantasy 5.

So what's your story?

Well to continue, I decided to try what I call a F-R, this just means I feel the Odd/Even will flip and one number will repeat. I then go to my 25 Odd number pool and eliminate all combinations without a repeating digit and depending on my gut feeling, I may keep the combinations with two repeating digits. This usually leaves me with 7 to maybe 15 picks. Then I eliminate the combos in sums which have recent hits, if I necessary. Usually I will bet ten combinations either Boxed or Straight/Box. Using this method I bet tonight.  Now look at the Florida draw Even Odd record for this month prior to tonight's draw (2-20-05):

    2-01 Even

    2-02     Odd

    2-03 Even

    2-04 Even

    2-05    Odd

    2-06 Even

    2-07 Even

    2-08     Odd

    2-09 Even

    2-10 Even

    2-11    Odd

    2-12 Even

    2-13    Odd

    2-14 Even

    2-15 Even

    2-16    Odd

    2-17 Even

    2-18 Even

    2-19 Even

This sure looks like a good time to flip, but does it?...No... I made sure I bought tickets.

2-20 Even 6-5-1  Not in my Even Pool anyway.

Well, there is only one way to guarantee a win and that is to buy all 220 combos. But then we enjoy the challenge, but it sure is nice to see all this time and effort pay off once in a while.

But remember what the late Mel Fisher always said,

    "Today's the day"

If he had quit when he didn't find anything, he would never have found The "Attocha" and all those silver and gold bars and coins or the Emeralds.

    Til the next time.. Super8

Remember there is only one guarantee in the Lottery games, you can't win unless you buy a ticket.
