  I have been told that the odds are better for Powerball but seeing the bigger 2nd place prize of $175,000 with Mega compared to the $100,000 2nd place prize of PB,  I would prefer Mega..

  It seems also that there are always 5 or 6  2nd place winners with Mega and few with PB.  I know it's due to more players but it still makes it more attractive.

  I think Powerball is better. Not just because the odds are better but also because they offer the Power Play option. I hope Mega Millions' current jackpot of $112 million vice Powerball's $10 million isn't influencing people's voting!

  the powerplay option is dumb.  if i were going to spend another dollar it would be used for another play at the jackpot.

  i would choose Megamillions as it is in most of the states i visit and access to getting my winnings would be easier for me

  I choose powerball since that is the game that is in my state and I have some chance of winning.

  I like PowerBall but MegaMillions gets my vote because it's played in my State.  It's a two hours drive for me to play PowerBall out of State.

  If the option is so dumb then why has this forum had a petition going to have Mega Millions offer a multiplier option? If youre so foolishly convinced you will only win the jackpot that's your business. Most sensible people know the odds and the odds are better at winning lower prize amounts. And if people want a chance at increasing their prize amounts thats other peoples business; NOT YOURS. All it is is a choice. And you're the one who is being dumb enough to imply people shouldn't that have choice.

  I chose Powerball.  It's in my state.  I have to drive like 35 miles to play mega millions in TX.
