 7/7/2003 1 5 9 7/5/2003 8 8 8 7/4/2003 2 0 2 7/3/2003 5 7 4

888 X 75% = 666    159 couldn't be one-upped or -downed from that.

But take the previous draw, 202 X 75 %= 151, it is close but didn't work, unless you go down one more number from 040 to 939 to get a 9. Where do you draw the line to get a winner and still be feasible to play?  This Monday night comes after the 888. What do you do after a triple? :

A    B    C      = 159 came

0    4    0

1    5    1

2    6    2

3    7    3

Monday night:

A    B    C

5    5    5

6    6    6 = 75 % of 888, so will 567 come?

7    7    7

8    8    8

I knew that a triple was coming last night, but I bought the # 666 -- 2 #'s off each! I really need help!

I have found it is best not to worry about trips.. but to think of doubles instead..

double 8's were due..  888 is just another double 8

Good thought, tntea.  But when trips hit, they ALWAYS have a huge payout.  It appears there are those who play only triples, or, are waiting for them to hit.  Here are the payouts for this year, you can see how the winnings differ, in comparison to regular-non-trip numbers.

Molly,

I work in a lotto store.. and I see many people dump there money out on trips..

There is much more to gain by whipping up on doubles than waiting out on trips..

I know there are more doubles to pick from than trips.

That is why I am researching the doubles...

I agree with a double possibly following the trip 8's.  If I were to play some I would play 622-606-566

tntea, I agree with what you are saying...I don't chase triples.  It just amazes me, when I see those payouts for trips.  I guess some people play them almost everyday, and after months with no trip, I can't see how they would come out ahead of the game; especially in Texas....

i know what you means . I never could pick when triple would come. I was focus on a 34 combination and when I got to the store it hit me that i should be a double 8 but I played the 889. I still can't belive that it was 10022 winners last night. I wish some I told me. lol

I agree with you tntea. Doubles are much more likely and more interesting to understand and play and you are really doing a great job helping us understand them. I've won some triples and there are plenty of people who play them religiously, (obviously), but even tho I saw the 88 and played 884 844 last nite, I really didn't see the triple coming. One thing I can say is that, in Texas anyway, you probably won't see a double for a couple of games nor an 8. You may see three consecutive numbers tho quite soon. Good Luck. ALX

There was one evening triple in Texas all last year. Does anyone really think it's good to play triples often?

I would just mix 5-6-7-8 for Monday evening.  567, 678, 578, 568.
