      You're very welcome, Qdg.

Georgia is currently in its third-longest stretch ever, without a triple.  (259 current skips)

Last winter and early spring, Georgia went through a very similar dry spell, with a triple finally falling on 04/03/2004 (666) after 324 skips. That was only two skips shy of equalling the historical record of 326.

326 is actually quite low for a historical max out, interesting as GA usually pushes the envelope in every other category

You are absolutely right, Justin.  Thanks for opening my eyes.  I had no idea.

I finally got around to checking some other states this morning. Got as far as Indiana, and here's what I'm showing:

            AR  353

            CA  444

            CT  373

            DC  632

            DE  481

            FL  423

            ID  415

            IL  620

            IN  431

Btw, GA's current skips are 290, 36 short of her record.  But after seeing the above figures, I sure won't be betting the house that Georgia's record will once again remain unbroken this time!

Wow, IL and DC really pushed it, almost a year combined draws without triples.

Yep Justin, those are definitely some sobering max out stats, nationally. Think I'll be sticking to other plays with more favorable odds.
