The Pigskin Challenge: POWERBALL 3-12-'05

$12,000,000.00

1. The object of The Pigskin Challenge is to correctly identify all the  numbers to be drawn in the Powerball game.

2. No more than ten number selections may be used to predict the numbers from the 5/53 matrix.

3. Due to its popularity, prediction of the red PowerBall number from the 1/42 matrix is now officially a part of The Pigskin Challenge.  No more than three number selections may be used to predict the red PowerBall.

For those who dare, you can specify one number from your picks in each matrix as most likely to hit . Just be sure to make it perfectly clear which one number you are selecting as most likely to hit in each matrix. There's no penalty if you don't specify any most likely numbers. It's just an attempt to get a little better read on how well our systems are working as opposed to having our numbers come up by pure chance.

This is all done with an eye toward helping us improve the accuracy and consistency of our prediction skills. Hopefully, it will also help us find a way to crack this PowerBall game.

The 'skindex rating system will be applied to all entries for purposes of evaluation and comparision of our efforts. The maximum possible score is 100 points.

Good luck to all Challengers,

aye'

Good to see that three red balls are in effect.

I think it is appropriate. I spend about 3 bucks each drawing. And 3 guesses on 42 is well rounded.

          getpaid,

It was your suggestion that provided the impetus for limiting the number of red PowerBall selections and making it an actual part of The Pigskin Challenge. Everyone who voiced an opinion agreed with your idea to set a maximum of three. Thank you for your suggestion.

          Good luck,

          aye'

            White Balls     6-7-14-15-30-32-38-41-43-53

            Power Ball      1-25-28

Getting bugged at the fact that my  system keeps spitting out 53 as the last WB... 3x in a row.... must be an error somewhere.

I threw in a 10th number and 3rd PB pick just for kicks... 25 is what I got on a QP and 38 is on the same QP... but you never know...

            good luck!

I'm heading into NYC tonight, so I figure the stakes are higher, I'll be putting $10 down on my numbers, and $100 for a night on the town.  Woohoo!  Good luck everyone.
