The Pigskin Challenge: POWERBALL 3-19-'05

\$10,000,000.00

1. The object of The Pigskin Challenge is to correctly identify all the  numbers to be drawn in the Powerball game.

2. No more than ten number selections may be used to predict the numbers from the 5/53 matrix.

3. No more than three number selections from the 1/42 matrix  may be used to predict the red PowerBall.

For those who dare, you can specify one number from your picks in each matrix as most likely to hit . Just be sure to make it perfectly clear which one number you are selecting as most likely to hit in each matrix. There's no penalty if you don't specify any most likely numbers. It's just an attempt to get a little better read on how well our systems are working as opposed to having our numbers come up by pure chance.

This is all done with an eye toward helping us improve the accuracy and consistency of our prediction skills. Hopefully, it will also help us find a way to crack this PowerBall game.

The 'skindex rating system will be applied to all entries for purposes of evaluation and comparision of our efforts. The maximum possible score is 100 points.

Good luck to all Challengers,

aye'

P.S. - My humble apologies to all Challengers, especially getpaid. I made a huge error in calculating the 'skindex ratings. getpaid actually scored a 1+1 match instead of the 1+0 match that I recognized. getpaid's actual score should have been 9.73. That score earned top honors in The Pigskin Challenge for 3-16-05. (That's what I get for doing the ratings in the middle of the night.) I'm very sorry for the mistake. Big congratulations to getpaid!

If you're that sure that you'll be picking up the Moonie Award tonight, I think I just found about three numbers that I can eliminate from my wheel.  Thanks for your help!
