The Pigskin Challenge: POWERBALL 3-23-05

$12,000,000.00

1. The object of The Pigskin Challenge is to correctly identify all the  numbers to be drawn in the Powerball game.

2. No more than ten number selections may be used to predict the numbers from the 5/53 matrix.

3. No more than three number selections from the 1/42 matrix  may be used to predict the red PowerBall.

You may specify one number from your picks in each matrix as most likely to hit . Just be sure to make it perfectly clear which one number you are selecting as most likely to hit in each matrix. There's no penalty if you don't specify any most likely numbers. It's simply an attempt to get a little better read on how well our systems are working as opposed to having our numbers come up by pure chance.

This is all done with an eye toward helping us improve the accuracy and consistency of our prediction skills. Hopefully, it will also help us find a way to crack this PowerBall game.

The 'skindex rating system will be applied to all entries for purposes of evaluation and comparision of our efforts. The maximum possible score is 100 points.

Good luck to all Challengers,

aye'

Time to make some money. I think a pretty good amount of numbers can be eliminated so I am putting my money in a combination of 15 numbers.

I will spend $4. But here is my 10 numbers for the challenge.

      6 12 14 16 24 28 29 34 38 39

      pb 3 15 21

      good luck

        getpaid,

It looks like we have only one number in common. I think everyone has been looking for that 6 ball to come out lately. It'll be a real challenge for anybody here to come up with more numbers than we've been hitting in recent draws.

        Good luck,

        aye'

                    * Denotes a most likely number selection hit.

The bad news is that the 37 and 40 got away from all of us. The good news is that we all managed to catch at least one number. That means there'll be no Moonie Awards for this drawing!

                    Thanks to all Challengers,

Hats off to everyone who participated.

There was not that many participants this time around. But with the jackpot at 19 million, the highest we see these days, I think they will crawl out for the next game.

Congrats aye, you post of 38 as the powerball inspired me to play it but I decided against it in the last minute, oops.

Unfortunately for me I didn't win a thing with my combination.

But it was not all bad new for me. The number I played for 5 consective draws was alive on it's final day. Therefore I got 23-37-45 for $7.

I had 0 plus 0, 2 plus 0, 2 plus 0, 0 plus 0 and 3 plus 0, for the five drawings. An impressive run. It makes this game still worth playing even with low jackpot.

                        See you guys sat.
