Just keep reading your local paper. So far this is the news:
Daily News officials said yesterday those who received the faulty Scratch n Match numbers can enter their tickets into a special lottery-type contest. To submit a claim, go to nydailynews.com, call (212) 330-6500, or mail your ticket to Scatch n' Match, 1548 Front Street, Blair, Nebraska 68008.
Eileen Murphy, the Daily News spokeswoman, however, claims contest administrator D.L. Blair of Garden City submitted the wrong numbers for the top prize and the paper ended up printing a 13 instead of a 12. The correct numbers are 9, 7, 5, 15, 12, 10, 1, 4, 3, 2. Under the contest rules, a player scratches off the boxes on the game card that correspond to the day's numbers. If three of the boxes have the same dollar value, then that's the money awarded to the player. Only one $100,000 award is available each week, along with 2,500 prizes of lesser amounts.
Murphy told Newsday the News has hired Hawthorne Investigations & Security Inc., of Floral Park, to look into the error, believed to be the paper's third since 1994.
D. L. Blair profoundly apologized in a statement for any inconveniences caused.
Hope this helps. Good luck
