Since I'm going to GA for a mega millions ticket I'm going to pick up a lotto south ticket too.  The way powerball has been this year, Lotto South seems like an OK game to play.  And yes I'll say it again. TENNESSEE NEEDS LOTTO SOUTH!!!

I'm surprised that TN is not involved in Lotto South. Only makes sense.

But they have already sold more than $1 billion in tickets.  They could support Lotto South.

I had been pushing Hot Lotto, but I'm guessing HL will be gone by next year.

HL is not very popular. Perhaps because the draws are held the same nights as PB. Somebody said MUSL is planning another jackpot game. I suggest West Virginia and DC pull out of Hot Lotto and join    Lotto South.

It may behoove Tennessee, West Virginia and DC to get together and form their own version of Lotto South;  maybe they could call it "Lotto East" or something.

If they join Lotto South, it would create 2 problems:

                      1.  They would probably have to drastically increase the matrix, which would probably do nothing but hurt Lotto South.

                      2.  And more importantly, making a "Lotto East" has a very important advantage:  out-of-state players.  Take Tennessee for example.  If they join Lotto South and the jackpot begins to grow, the state north of them (Kentucky) and the state south of them (Georgia) wouldn't go into Tennessee to buy Lotto South tickets because Kentucky and Georgia already have Lotto South.  BUT, if Tennessee had a "Lotto East," many people from Kentucky and Georgia would go to Tennessee to buy "Lotto East" tickets when the "Lotto East" jackpot started to grow.

I guess we have different opinions on what the "perfect" jackpot odds would be.

if they would put hot lotto on a different night, thats overkill putting hot lotto and powerball on the same night.....powerball overshadows it
