I'm hearing a lot about the future of a pick-6 game in Tennessee. While a lot of people are advocating

Lotto South, I think TN should go on it's own here. We should be encouraging more in-state games. Did

you see that article predicting better Powerball sales in TN after someone won there. Imagine how well

a game would do if ALL the winners were from the Volunteer State. I'm thinking of some concepts for a

new in-state Lotto in Tennessee. All of the following have a payout of 50%, a mimimum jackpot of

$1,000,000 30-year annuity, and are pari-mutuel.

Concept 1:

Matrix: 6/51

Price: 2 per dollar

Match 6 Prize: 60% of prize pool, 1:9,004,730

Match 5 Prize: 10% of prize pool, estimated prize $1,500, 1:33,350

Match 4 Prize: 10% of prize pool, estimated prize $30, 1:606

Match 3 Prize: 20% of prize pool, estimated prize $3, 1:31

Overall Odds - 1:30.124

Concept 2:

Matrix: 6/46

Price: 1 per dollar

Match 6 Prize: 60% of prize pool, 1:9,366,819

Match 5 Prize: 12.5% of prize pool, estimated prize $2,400, 1:39,028

Match 4 Prize: 12.5% of prize pool, estimated prize $50, 1:800

Match 3 Prize: 15% of prize pool, estimated prize $3, 1:47

Overall Odds - 1:44.702

Concept 3:

Matrix: 6/49

Price: 1 per dollar

Match 6 Prize: 50% of prize pool, 1:13,983,816

Match 5 + Bonus Prize: 10% of prize pool, estimated prize $100,000, 1:2,330,636

Match 5 Prize: 12.5% of prize pool, estimated prize $3,400, 1:55,491

Match 4 Prize: 12.5% of prize pool, estimated prize $65, 1:1,082

Match 3 Prize: 15% of prize pool, estimated prize $4, 1:61

Overall Odds - 1:57.600

Concept 3 looks good to me.  However, it looks just like Lotto South lol.  I didn't pick lotto south because deep down I would like to have a state lottery game that is ONLY played here.

number 2 seems easiest, and remember that with every in-state lotto game, they leave room for improvement.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

TN needs Lotto South or Hot Lotto.

LOL.  I thought Cash 4 was going to be some type of pick 6 game.  TN needs to start working on this fast.  I think we are all going to explode if they don't lol.

How are you going to win if you don't play?

Lotto South with a bigger matrix.

A pick six game would take longer than cash4 wouldn't it?

Probably so. It's a much bigger game to introduce, and requires much more planning. I just hope they go in-state. Lotto South would crash and burn worse than a plane coming in too fast at BNA. And Hot Lotto would collide with Powerball (N-MUSL) mid-air. Sorry for the av-nalogies.

I think there is something about lotto south that would prohibit another state joining or something.  SC and LA would have already joined if they could have IMO.  I'm going to Email one of the Lotto South states and ask.  Lets see what they say.
