States like Connecticut have wretched jackpot increases on lotto games.  It's been five weeks since the $11m jackpot was won....it starts out at $1 million...and where is it now?  A whopping $1.9 million.  Anyway, I'm putting $2 down on Tuesday.  Here's my number group:

Maybe CT will join a future MUSL secondary jackpot game.

$3.7 million for Friday, July 22.

Look for CT Classic Lotto to become a bigger jackpot game if CT dumps Powerball.

I remember there was a flap some years ago when a lottery employee made a stink about the advertised jackpots being inflated... in fact if I remember correctly it was this same employee who went on a rampage killing a bunch of his fellow workers...remember that one?  Soon thereafter the increments were smaller, not the usual 1 million per unwon draw increases. Seems like it takes forever for the jackpot to grow to several million these days. No doubt powerball sales have cut into the game, and you're prolly right CASH ONLY, if powerball goes bye-bye the Ct. Lotto would no doubt see more activity.

                  Cash Only,

I see you continually post jackpot amounts for certain lotteries even though Todd provides this feature. Sometimes these posting are on threads that do not apply. This was pointed out to you in the past.

I was wondering about your motivation.

If your motivation was because you thought members wanted to see these posts, would you change your mind if members replied that they no longer want to see these posts?

If your motivation was to increase your post counts, would you change your mind if Todd agreed to grant you an automatic increase in your post counts everytime a jackpot increased for certain lotteries?

I am mostly interested in your motivation for these types of posts.

If your solution is to continue to post these jackpot amounts, can I ask you to create specific threads for these topics. You can use topic titles like "Connecticut Lottery Jackpot Amount". This way members would know the exact topic and would know whether or not to check the topic.

                  Thanks,
                  Jake

People who live near the CT/NY border need to remember CT Classic Lotto pays out much better than  NY Lotto.

                      Cash Only,

Interesting tactic. Immediately replying to my post without answering the question. Members will see the topic and see that you were the last to post and assume it is just another jackpot level post and not read my post.

Seriously though, what is your motivation?

                      Good luck,
                      Jake

I would actually like to see CT leave Powerball. It would make Classic Lotto a better game, and there would be less players in the mix to win the PB jackpot. I'm also sure Rhode Island would also be very happy.

That also reminds me, my dad is going through CT tommorrow. I'll tell him to get tickets. Cash option after taxes is $2,000,000! That's enough to set one for life. Pretty good for a 6/44.

You might feel differently about CT leaving PB if you actually lived here.

Or if CT is your closest PB state, which is the case with me.
