    here's how i determine it.

I take into account the cash value and (if applicable) annuity amounts. If I feel that the cash amount and annuity amount are right, with the annuity amount equaling $1 million a year before taxes, then it may be worth it.

I take into account the odds. If the Mega Millions jackpot, with it's 135 million to 1 odds, is at $30 million, it isn't worth playing. If the OH Super Lotto Plus jackpot, with 14 million to one odds, is at $20 million, it's worth playing. If the OH Rolling Cash 5 is at $200,000, it's worth playing. It all depends on how good my shot of winning is.

Lastly, I take into account how much money is in my wallet. If it is not much, I may opt not to play. If I just got paid, maybe I'll play a bit more than usual.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

Anywhere between $62,500,000.00 and $116,000,000.00 is a serious time for Powerball jackpot play...at least in my humble view. Passing each of these jackpot levels, I tend to change my personal approach to the game.

... the lottery never fails to surprise!
