Powerball. The chance to become a millionaire without even matching all 6 is very appealing.

i agree 100 percent, that might just make powerball a little bit more appealing.....matching 5 and getting a million is definitely a great deal.

I doubt it. Powerball kinda tries for a fun, happy, almost hokey feel. The PowerPlay kind of adds to that effect making it seem more like a novelty game. Mega Millions, on the other hand, is more cosmopolitan and classy. Just a serious jackpot with no fillers (although Texas did give it's own spin on it). Watch the draws and you can see what I mean.

i would love to see a mega millions drawing....its almost like powerball caters to the blue collar folks and mega millions caters to the more upscale variety...

I've seen the information about Mega Millions changing, but what will the changes be for Powerball and when?  I'm just curious.

We only have Powerball here in Louisiana.  MegaMillions isn't available.  I'd have to run all the way to Texas for that!

What changes are coming in August to pwerball?  I agree with someone who stated that powerball caters to the blue collar and mega millions to the more sophisticate player.  Truth be told, as long as I win I don't care who pays me.  I like both games.

                          I have a question...

Do you have to buy the powerplay...is the power play the multiplier thingy...

"A fool and his money are soon to part"

well at least i will have fun doing it

In D.C. you have to pay additional for the Power Play.
