I hope that the new changes create big jackpots so someone here at LP can cash in especially me.

i like the concept that second prize at powerball could make someone a millionaire if they take power play. i guess the same thing would be true with mega millions, but unfortunately that is only in texas.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

I have thought about this before.  I would also like couple of people getting rich than just one.  But on the other hand, if I'm lucky enough to beat the unbelieveable odds of 1 in 135 million (MM) or 1 in 120 million (PB) I dont want to share the jackpot with anyone else.  Because winning a jackpot is a once in a life time thing (for most people).

Thats just how I feel.  But if I ever won and there were multiple jackpot winners, it wouldnt take me long to get over it.  After all, we are still talking about millions of dollars!!

Years ago, Ohio had a similar idea.  They limited the amount one ticket could win so there would be plenty left for the next winners and a lot of people stopped playing and that ended that idea.

I sort of agree with that thought, but the way I look at it, the job of the big multi-state games is not to make lots of people rich, it's to create enormous jackpots.  In my opinion, the role of individual state Pick 6 lotto games is to make several people rich, not MM or PB.  If a state is too small to consistently generate $1 million+ jackpots, then a few states should band together, and LOTTO South is the perfect example of that.

This is also the reason that I firmly believe every state should have a standard, classic Pick 6 game.  Those states that refuse to provide their players a classic Pick 6 game are giving their players the shaft.

A good example of what I'm talking about is Pennsylvania, which absolutely refuses to give their players a standard Pick 6 game.  Although PA's Match 6 game does have some followers, offering it as the only Pick 6 game is a travesty.

An example of a good move is Michigan, which re-introduced a classic Pick 6 game (6/47). Thumbs Up  However, Michigan is also a good example of a state gone haywire, by conducting the 6/47 drawings using a computer. P***ed  Talk about a frustratingly horrible decision! Thumbs Down
