I think I'm going to try forecasting wether or not certain games will rollover.

Chance of Rollover this Saturday: 50%

Jackpot if no one wins: $128,000,000 annuity value

I think the chances of the Powerball rolling over are more than 50%.  With odds of 120,526,770 to one and projected sales of an estimated $24 million (no, I did not do the math!), the chances of powerball rolling over have to be at least 82%.

You're probably right about the annuity value though.

i would go closer to $135 million if it rolls though.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

My forecast was based on this. About 25% of sales go to the jackpot, and it's been estimated that $15 million will go towards it. $15 Million is 25% of of $60 million, which would mean about 60,000,000 unique combinations will have been sold. The odds are 1 in 120 million, and when 60,000,000 of the combos have been bought, that makes a 50/50 chance of a rollover or a winner.

I think powerball isn't done rolling yet.  It's time for powerball to stretch some legs.  This is what we powerball people have been waiting on.  MM has had its fun now powerball has the spotlight.  Until PB is won then MM will have it again.  Already up to $40 something million right?

I hope my post count is the correct cash 3 number for tonight.  Not going to post again til the draw.

How are you going to win if you don't play?

I thought 32.something% of PB sales went to the jackpot.

Correct.  The jackpot winner receives 32.6689% of sales.

Also, the estimated CASH VALUE has increased only about $8 million, not $15 million, so they're actually projecting only about $24 million in sales.

BTW, Mega Millions is now $50 million annuity for Tuesday's drawing.  It's beginning to get to the point where people will think the MM is rigged!

When powerball is won, I guess I'll start playing MM until powerball gets high again.  I love living close to a MM and living in a powerball state.
