        Woohoo....

$129 million is an $18 million roll but it seems like less than that!

Actually, an $18 million roll is normal for this jackpot level.

I also cannot believe that there were only four second place winners this drawing - that's only 40% of the amount of second place winners expected for sales at this jackpot level (according to lottoreport.com, sales were $29,487,024, which is expected to produce ten second place winners).  On the last drawing, there were only three second place winners, again less than expected.

Before MegaMillions came to Ohio, I use to goto Michigan for the BigGame and to Indiana for the PowerBall when ever their jackpots were $100M+ and always had to stand in line to buy tickets. All the stores near the State line would hire extra help just to sell lottery tickets when ever the jackpots got that big.  In those days a special news team would be at one the stores covering the lines for the night news stories about lottery fever. Yesterday I went to Indiana to cash in my tickets from Dec 04 and buy some tickets for last night's drawing and there were no lines, no special clerks assign to sell tickets and on the radio there were a lottery advertisement telling people about last night's $111M drawing.  I guess a $100M+ jackpot isn't what it use to be, I'm surprised it roll over $18M.

I had a $4 winner (1+1) among my three games. I do not PowerPlay when the jackpot is high.

I use it on what I think is my best line.  It got me $15 two drawings ago instead of $3.  I'm powerplaying both of my lines for the upcoming drawing....$4.

So, does it get hit on Wednesday or does it make a run till the 1st of June for say close to $230,000,000.00? This is the last chance Power ball has for a major jackpot before mega millions reenters the consciousness of the American lottery player on the 24th of June.

Would you believe it, there was a time when people were actually saying that the PowerBall game had gotten too big and out of control.
