1st question
I've been wondering since lotto 5 got above $1 million, are you guys
thinking of joining lotto south or even starting a Volunteer lotto or
Lotto TN? I would like to play a game like one of those because the odds
are a lot better than Powerball and there would be more winners here at
home. If it was an Instate Lotto game it might do better than lotto
south because some players may look at Lotto south as "Small powerball"
because it's a multi state game. Just my thoughts. I hope ya'll come
up with something great like lotto 5.
Answer: At this time there are no plans to join Lotto South. I will forward
your suggestions to the appropriate department.
2nd question
I was wondering if you have say 3 Free Tickets that are $1 in value,
can you trade them in for 3 lotto 5 tickets? I went to a local retailer
and I ask them for 3 QP for lotto 5 and handed them 3 free $1 tickets
and they said they aren't allowed to do that. I could only get the same
kind of $1 ticket I have a free ticket on. I showed them on the back
of the ticket where it said $1 value and lotto 5 is a one dollar value
and they still refused to sell me the tickets. I went on to another
retailer to buy the tickets and had no problem. I want to know am I
allowed to trade in my free tickets for the same value of Online tickets?
Answer: Retailers are required to exchange free tickets for the same game. Any
deviation from that rule is at the discretion of the individual
retailer.
