I've been thinking about creating this page for a long time, and finally set aside the time to do it.

The Daily Topics page lets any member see all the posts that were made on any one day.  An easy-to-use calendar tool is used to select the day.

Also, you have the ability to filter the page by member, so you can see all the posts that any one member made on any day.  If you change days, the filter stays intact until you take it off.

I think this is a very unique page - unlike anything I have come across on other forums.  The idea was completely my own, so if there are any other web sites out there with this functionality, it is a coincidence.  (Just wanted to mention that in case we start seeing other web sites implement a similar type of page in the future.)

You get to the page by selecting "Daily Topics" from the Forums menu.

Also, as a more minor note, I have added an RSS feed for the Change log, so if you use a newsreader, you can get automatic updates of Lottery Post site changes.

Oh yeah, another cool thing about the page are the small icons to jump directly to the first post and last post for that day — within each topic.

Good idea, Todd.  I currently use the active topics option, but this sounds even better, especially being able to filter it down to particular posters.

      Thanks!  Thumbs Up

I don't indent to replace Active Topics, because that is still the best way to see everything that's changed since your last visit.  But it is one more useful tool in the arsenal.

fantastic i like it a lot. Makes life easier finding a poster. Now don't have to search for last post any more can go directly to their last posts in one click.

I find it really useful for posts like Sandy's weekly Michigan post.  It allows me to jump directly to the first post of the day within that thread (for whatever day you pick).

This is one of those pages people are going to get some good use out of, and there's lots of room for new little features in it.
