Someone in CT won tonight's $59.5 million.  The jackpot will reset to $10 million

How are you going to win if you don't play?

Sigh, wasn't me. I do always play 14 as the pb though but no other numbers matched. Oh well.

I wonder if it was Cash Only -- who buys his Powerball tickets in CT.  At least he won't be able to complain about no CT winners anymore!  USA Mega has the scoop on the drawing...

Damnit!  For once this year, I'd like to see Mega Millions get hit below the $100 million mark!  Why does this always happen to Powerball?

When they change the matrix in August I hope this changes also.

How are you going to win if you don't play?

Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it.  Powerball already has a lower player:odds ratio than Mega Millions (even with MM recently increasing their matrix this is still true), yet they still have more jackpot winners.

The reason I wanted a Connecticut PB winner is that all three previous CT jackpots were won when PB was annuity-only. We've waited since 1997 for a Connecticut PB winner to take the lump sum.
