I have updated the USA Mega Past Results pages to have a easier-to-read design, plus show the jackpot from draw-to-draw.  That makes it very easy to see how fast the jackpot rolls over every time.

BTW, USA Mega is getting some great Google rankings on both Powerball and Mega Millions.

Also, the Mega Millions Statistics page offers the ability to view the statistics for every past version of Mega Millions, something I don't think is available anywhere else:

      • The current version of the game (June 24, 2005 - present) - 5/56 + 1/46
      • The first version of Mega Millions (May 17, 2002 - June 21, 2005) - 5/52 + 1/52
      • The second version of The Big Game (January 15, 1999 - May 14, 2002) - 5/50 + 1/36
      • The first version of The Big Game (September 6, 1996 - January 12, 1999) - 5/50 + 1/25

        Todd,

Good information to know. Do you also have the change history for Powerball?

          Todd,

Good information to know. Do you also have the change history for Powerball?

Yes!  If you go to the bottom of the Powerball Statistics page, you'll see links for all three versions:

          • The current version of Powerball (October 9, 2002 to present: first 5 numbers are 1-53 and the Powerball is 1-42).
          • The first version of Powerball (November 1, 1997 and prior: first 5 numbers were 1-45 and the Powerball was 1-45).
          • The second version of Powerball (November 5, 1997 to October 5, 2002: first 5 numbers were 1-49 and the Powerball was 1-42).

After August 27th Powerball draw, they'll have the 4th version ready Todd. Otherwise, I have every single draw from both Mega Millions and Powerball history of the first 3 versions in one of my documents.

Thank you Todd. Both of your sites are great, the best out there. Very pleasant and easy to use. I liked it the moment I found my way here.

I just wish that the euromillions sales would start again.

Well, MegaMillions jumped from $102m to $120m in early April on 4 days of sales.  With no winner tonight they are predicting a jump from $100m to $122m on Friday.  That with only 3 days of sales.  It looks like it might hit $150m next Tuesday if it rolls again.

Hopefully the jump would be bigger.

Maybe close to 150m if no winner.

Thanks Dream, I appreciate that feedback.  I am hoping to complete some upgrades to the Powerball side of things at USA Mega soon.

I hope the jackpot for Mega Millions rolls and goes past 363 million and have only one winning ticket down the road.
