What would you do if this happened to you?

You get into your car and notice the odometer reads  74747473.

By the time the odometer reads 74747474 I would have pulled into the nearest inconvienient store where lotto tix are sold.

Earlier in the day, you noticed that you had 74 dollars and 74 cents on you after paying $7.47 for lunch. You noticed this synchronicity only because just minutes earlier you had just weighed 4 consecutive packages that each weighed 7lbs 4 oz and you thought that was strange thing considering that just before that you  had totaled up some invoices for the past week and the total amount was $7,474.74 .

Just this happened to me about a year ago (but the numbers have been changed to protect the innocent).  Looking back, I really should have spent all my 74 dollars on lotto tix, but anyway... I played the two numbers in several different games but oddly, the numbers did not come up at all. Anywhere. It's like cold numbers were served up to me in a strange coincidence for no reason whatsoever. Weird huh? I bought qps too, but no winners were in sight.

Might have been something completely unrelated to the lottery... maybe that's how much change was in your pocket at the time, or the license tag number on a car you're going to buy someday, or nothing at all.  I think I'd have played them, those numbers.  Win, lose or draw.

Why the absence of avitars Rip Snorter? I think you and Visiondude had the showdown about always presenting religion into everything,or something to that nature. I'm no trying to re-ignite anything here, but I think he would be winning if you had to change your lifestyle within LP.

Years ago I was complaining to a female passenger about the crime in NYC, involving taxis, while I was driving her to some location in Manhattan. I drove a yellow cab for 4 years. She replied " why don't you just get a safer job or different job?"..... to Which I replied.....Why do I have to change my good ....paying......cash everyday......job.....because there are people out there who don't want to work for a living?...and I'm supposed to alter my lifestlye around them???? I don't think so.....But that's just my opinion...

You just need to mind your own affairs, amigo.  Mine are none of your concern.

              No problem.

I'd guess a lot more people want to become proficient with RV to allow them to nose into matters that are none of their business than do it to try to predict lottery numbers.  Once we have a population where all the cop shops have an RV man, where every wife is able to make a quick check on why hubbie is late for supper and just where it is he's 'working late', where every boss can know what a boss thinks he needs to know about what's happening back in the mail room and what merchandise is going out the back door via the garbage cans for later pickup from the dumpster, where he can look at a resume and REALLY know about the applicant, once the IRS folks can look into exactly what kinds of games you played with your tax forms without leaving the cubicle, once the neighbor lady can have a look at what you and your lady friend like to do with whips and handcuffs when the curtains are drawn, golly, there just won't be a lot of mental geography that goes unexamined.  The concept of privacy and minding one's own business is already pretty far gone, but the race ain't half over.

It's an ill wind, says the bard, that blows no good.  Guess which side is the good one is up for grabs depending on where you sit.

Jack, good observations about RV.. check out http://www.viking-z.org for some interesting info.

A main point the author of that site makes (which I agree with) is that ones level of personal responsibility is key.  Generally, those with lower responsibility levels cannot Remotely influence someone at a higher level. If one has a large amount of personal responsibility, that person can remotely command others at a lower level to take responsibility for their actions (and the results of those actions)... enlightenment is a terrible weapon against those who do not want it. Taking responsibility for ones actions is something not many want to own up to.

A telepathic society would probably be low on crime but at what cost? One has to fight for ones free will once on the telepathic net.

There's a lot of truth to what you say.

But the problem with RV is the fact it's passive.  A person who wants to avoid the scrutiny of an accomplished RV practicioner is going to need a middling skill in some other metaphysical avenues.

There was a movie back in the '50s called The Painted Desert.  One of the scenes had a kangaroo mouse cornered under a plant with a sidewinder rattler staring him in the face.  The rat was kicking up a lot of dirt into the snake's eyes, buying time against something happening in his favor.  The rattler couldn't blink, so it just waited for the mouse to run out of altitude, airspeed and fancy ideas.

That's generally what a person has to do to avoid RV examination.  An awareness that it's a reality and a possibility, a deliberate creation of obfuscations to disorient the perceptions of that future RV snooper, and a fair amount of maintenance, once the job of work is done.

But first a person has to understand that it's there, and it's real.

A lot of people are likely to have a lot of surprises before all this comes to pass.
