i received a email from thrunderball jackpot stating that i was a winner. is this true of what?

            under the results tab then united kingdom. thunderball is listed there.

              Yes, I know that Thunderball is the name of a lottery game in the United Kingdom.  But you did not ask that.  You asked, "I received a (sic) email from thrunderball (sic) jackpot stating that I was a winner. Is this true of (sic) what?"

              There is no legitimate organization called "Thunderball Jackpot" that would send you an e-mail.  It's the name of a game offered by an organization called the UK National Lottery.  Plus, if you did win the game called Thunderball, you would have had to purchase a ticket first, don't you think?

              As a test, if you received the following letter in the mail, would you think it was really from the President?

                  Every lottery player knows "You can't win unless you play".  They are not "sweepstakes".

                    That's not true. Thousands win the Nigerian lottery without even buying a ticket. It's a miracle I tell you.
