Win, Exacta, & Trifectas are the pools to have your money.  Also, the guaranteed pick fours.

Can you post some predictions for those bets, neighbor?.  Gotta love Del Mar!

Thumbs Up Have fun with these impossible games!

I have been posting "box".  This means you should play those horses in an exacta or trifecta as a box.  This means to play all combinations.  So, if I listed "Box 5-9" that means to play TWO exactas ... 5-9 and 9-5.  I actually do best by just watching the tote board, looking at stats I have and then deciding how I'm going to bet.

I'm not going to be posting horses on this web site any more, but you can find me as "JD's Picks" on the public predictions page at the Del Mar site.

When I bet on just a horse without the exotic bets, then I normally play $2 win, $4 place, and $8 show.  The online betting place doesn't give me the option of betting the pick fours or doubles.

        Good Luck.

I have been doing OK.  I do it online with the quarter place and I watch the tote board.  I give my suggestions on the Del Mar Public Picks page using the name "JD's Picks", if you want to see how well I predict the winners.  The Del Mar web site seems to be down right now, but the URL is www.dmtc.com and then click on handicapping and then click on Public Picks.  Then you will have a calendar show up.  Click on the day you want and you will see what us amateurs think!  I don't always try to predict the winner!  There were some "sure wins" today and I stayed away from those low-payout horses and picked a horse that I thought would be in the money.  I suggested to play Win-Place-Show, $2,$4,$8.  It worked once today.  The horse came in third and paid $7.00 to show.  That's a $14.00 profit.

Anyway, check it out!  I don't do dogs!!

its good to bet on the longshot sometimes because those could sometimes bring you quite a bit.the longshot won the kentucky derby and i think a trifecta paid a million bucks.the exacta paid an outrageous amount as well.good luck with the horses....
