This is the first time since the new matrix and the first time in a really long time.  CA's prize must be huge by now.

I agree with you Bradly_60 on this one. Should CA have one ticket win all 5 numbers, but missed the MEGA Ball, it's kind of a mini progressive just like some slots in Las Vegas. The jackpot for a 5/5 ticket is now at 1.5 million for 8/9/05 in CA only.

I don't know why they're not advertising this. I mean, two jackpots in the same game?! I have seen this in New York Lotto with the 5+Bonus, but obviously this one will grow much bigger and faster.

The odds of winning second place in MM are 1 in only 3.9 million.  California is expected to sell more than 3.9 million tickets, so they probably don't expect MM to go this long without a match 5+0 winner.

There was over 16,000,000 tickets sold in the last drawing.  Kind of odd that not one matched the 5 white balls for the 250,000 in all the states combined.  I think it is due to the so called "odd" way the numbers came out.

Yep it's all luck of the draw.

I agree with this topic. It's all about luck in the draw. It's so strange that no tickets hit all five white balls.
