Yes I've read through most of the posts and I understand it BUT I do not understand where the numbers on the movement chart come from. Would someone please be good enough to explain this to me? How do I pick these?  Thanks

    Paint1

    Here's how Winsomeloosesum explained it -

    Vtracs that I use are taken from an Excel file(s) from a Yahoo Lottery Group.  E-Lottery Universe

    As far as I know you can still download the Excel files.  If you can't let me know and I will send you a copy.  I believe there are 4 or 5 different Excel files from individual states.  Use the Georgia file if possible.

    If you can use Excel you will get a better understanding of Vtracs.

    The basic concept with vtracs

    Vtrac      Digit Conversion

    1      =          0    &    5

    2     =          1    &    6

    3      =          2    &    7

    4      =          3    &    8

    5      =          4    &    9

    -----------------------------------------------

    As Sirmetro has explained, you reduce 10 digits down to 5.

    The key with vtrac is MOVEMENT.  Movement of vtracs from drawing to drawing.

    For example:

    Lets say the last 2 drawings in your state's Pick 3  numbers were  1 7 4 on Sunday and 862 on Monday.

    Convert these to Vtracs and you get:  (see chart above)

     2 3 5  (Sunday)

     4 2 3  (Monday)

    Looking at the example above you see the first position vtrac 2 on Sunday and vtrac 4 on Monday.

    The movement is 2  (4 - 2 = 2)

    The Key is to see look at your states past 100 to 200 past drawings and see the top movements for each vtrac.

    Again, looking at the example above.

    Vtrac 235

    You want to see the top movements of vtrac 2  (1st position)

                                                                   vtrac 3  (2nd Position)

                                                                  vtrac 5  (3rd position)

    Like I said earlier.  If you know how to use Excel just download the file(s) from Yahoo and you will get the basic idea of how vtrac works.

    The Vtrac system I use is a little different.  My movements are (-) and (+).  So using the example from above.  4 -  2 = 2  I use a movement of -2 instead of 2.  This is what I used to Pick Minnesota's Pick 3 number last month for Atomic Dog.  Each day I selected 8 straight combinations for 30 days.  I kept using the top movement from each vtracs position.

    As someone posted at Lotterpost,  this is only the tip of the iceburg.

    Once you get the idea of how vtracs work.  Always look for repeating vtracs from 1 of the 3 positions of the previous drawing.  Look for more double vtracs (223,  344 etc)

    Current for 8/22/01
          P1    P2  P3
    V1 542 132 325
    V2 314 135 132
    V3 152 245 154
    V4 352 324 352
    V5 431 413 134

    This is his top movement chart by position.

    All the numbers in the chart above are vtracs.

    1. Let's take an example.  Say last night's number was 7 5 4.  Converting the 754 to vtrac = 315

    Now we look at the vtrac 3 (V3) and look at the chart above for postition 1 (P1).

    V3 or vtrac 3 in position 1 (P1) is telling us that the top 3 vtracs to play in the next drawing for Position 1 are 1, 5, and 2

    2. Let's look at the 2nd positon.  Last night's position 2 vtrac was "1"

    Look at V1 (vtrac1) and then go over to P2 (Position 2) and you see the top 3 vtracs for the next drawing for position 2 are 1, 3, and 2

    3.  Look at last night's 3rd position vtrac.  You see it is a "5".

    Look at V5 (vtrac 5) and then go over to P3 (Position 3) and you see the top 3 vtracs for Position3 are the 1, 3, and 4.

    Let's put this all together now for the next drawing.

    Position 1 - Top 3 Vtracs  1 5 2

    Position 2 - Top 3 Vtracs  1 3 2

    Position 3 - Top 3 Vtracs  1 3 4

    So the top 3 vtracs for each position are 1 1 1 (This was a bad example!!)

    Next you convert the vtrac 1 1 1 to regular digits.

    Vtrac 1 =  digits 0 and 5

    0  0  0

    5  5  5

    Combinations:

    000  005  050  055

    500  505  550  555

    If you play the top vtrac in each position you end up with 8 combinations.

    If you play the top  2 vtracs you end up with 64 combinations

    If you play the top 3 as in the chart above you would play 216 combinations.

    I hope this helps

      About time that somebody explained this, I was wondering what the heck they were all about.

      Thank you much.

        I can't find this E-Lottery Universe group. Do you have a link that you can send to me via a P.M. ?

        Thank you.
