I got this in an email from an acquaintance on the Digital Dowser mailing list:

"But as I looked at the Pick 3's because the lady at work has told me that she has won 5 times a week etc, I started watching her method and it does work, for example: (and this goes on all year)  You can check it on a search of Pick 3 for Illinois for the past year.  Strange.

8/30/05 Even    971
8/31/05 Noon    671
9/1/05 Noon      071
I had two winners on 8/26 (Pick 3 & Pick 4)  and one on 8/29 (Pick 3) as well as several others during the month, but knowing when to play is hard.  If I always played, I would probably lose more than I win.  You have to get the $500 & $5000 payoffs from time to time to stay in the game
But then it might fall off for a few days, but she has the knack of getting them to the tune of as much as $1000 or so per week.  Hey, that would be ok on the way to $1,000,000, but it would take 1000 weeks.  I was getting about $45,000 to whatever in wins per year with the scrying (for want of another name) method, but keeping the faith is hard."
I thought I might as well post it for some of you Mystical Forum users who play Pick 3, which I don't.
Good luck,
Jack

"Scrying is the deliberate act of perceiving events that lie beyond the range of  the physical senses by using the agents of the unconscious mind.

"The scryer is separated fromn the things scried by distance, by time, or by levels of consciousness.  Usually visual images are scried, but it is possible to scry sounds, scents, sensations and flavors.  Any impression you can pick up with the senses of your body can also be received at a distance by your mind alone through scrying."

Donald Tyson, Scrying For Beginners, Copyright 1997. Llewellyn Publications, St. Paul, Minnesota.

Others might have other, better definitions.  That's just the definition close at hand in a book on one of my shelves.

        Good luck,

My pleasure.  Skrying is the method used by Nostrdamas, along with a lot of other names you'd probably recognize.  N sat in a chair with a blanket draped over his head and a bowl of water to keep out light and reflections while he was doing his thing.

My bud on the dowser list uses an 8 inch crystal ball, which he believes he needs, but opinion generally runs in favor of anything from a bowl of water to a mirror to a crystal ball being about equally able to do the job, provided the person trying to do it is able.

There used to be a sort of toy sold.... pyramid with an 8 inch base and 6 inch altitude with a hole cut in the top to stare into, the inside covered with tin foil, and three 3/8 inch holes about midway up each side to let in light......

They called this thing an 'Occult Accumulator'..... fairly interesting.  I made one and played around with it a bit..... it tends to be a lot less focused and directed than a ball or a bowl of water..... fact is there's no telling what you'll see in the thing.... animals grazing in a field, purple elephants fighting yellow dinosaurs, some human being face you don't recognize, lips moving and looking you in the eye, but no words coming out ...

They sold it as a TOY!

Anyway, hope that tells you whatever you want to know about skrying.

It would be even more interesting if Rip could know what days she plays, and minimize the loss, and also make $1000.00 a week.

If she did what Arlene Meeks did......selling winning numbers.....With 10 fold the accuracy...WOW!!!!

Another email (in part) from my DD list skrying bud:

I want to clarify that I have not 'won' the money because I have not played the lottery!  except for the Mega Millions in which I have not been successful.

I try scrying the numbers or seeing them in my mind's eye twice a day for the Noon and Evening Lotteries and logging them.  Every once in a while I look back in my PDA and see the hits I have had.  I have tried to keep track of the number of dollars I would have had to spend to get the wins vs. the amount of money won.  I get the 90,000 by taking months of wins and projecting them forward.  I do have about 4 or 5 years of results I think.  Maybe it is only 3 years, I would have to pull out all the number books.  My efforts have been more for the excitement of being able to 'see' the numbers rather than getting the 'green' in my hands.  I have to remind myself of that when I get a big winner and did not play.  At times I 'guess' a lot of numbers just because I have the time.  Sometimes I guess after the drawing due to the constraints of work, so I am not sure if it is true scrying.  I think there is an element of remote viewing in it but since I am not trained, I can not say which.  If I were clairvoyant, we would both be sitting in clover already with that $144,000,000 that I hadn't a clue about.  (I have never been able to get the 2-digit numbers with any consistency and I would play those because it amounts to only a few tickets.)  The last winner was 9/02 on the pick 4, now remember this is a chance of 24 out of 10,000 and I guessed 69 number combinations, just because I had the time as I was driving and recording my impressions in my digital 'tape' recorder.  The win would have been worth $200 but I would have had to spend either $69 or $138 to get it depending on how I bet.  Also this number was the 66th combination, not very impressive.  If I bet straight box then the win would only be $100 giving only a $31 actual win, so the 90,000 shrinks dramatically.  I had Winning combination 9725, but my answer was 2795 or a box win.  I also had 3/4 4 times and 2/4 17 times.  Now this was not that good of a win.  If you invest in each lottery and go cold for a while (low energy and exhaustion, I think) it can cost a lot of money.

As far as Sue's, girl at work, method, it is what you are about to do.  I will send you the listing of the numbers in a Windows file in a separate e-mail named windows so you can download it or not as you see fit.  I did it yesterday.  She just looks at the numbers and sees the pattern that you will see and bets about $5 and is hitting.  I make a loop to show there the similarities are.  It is amazing.  I think it could be crooked with some interim type of communication between those in the know to let know what is happening.  They could get payoffs that they didn't even have to sign for and do it consistently even bet say $10 on a given number in 10 tickets and get $500 ten times.  She has just picked up on the trend.  I think you will see it.  My son says it is just because there are only 10 numbers in each of three columns, but I think you will see that it is no probable that this should happen this often.  The first few numbers on the list do not hold to the pattern, but just look down and you will start seeing that 2 numbers repeat , say, on 9/1  from morning to evening  071 and 061  8/30 evening to 8/31 Noon  971 and 671 and so forth.

Look for the other e-mail named 'Windows'.  I am sorry if what I said before was misleading.  It was something In my personal processing unit (brain) that I take for granted (Counting the wins and not the cost of getting them)

looks like the method sue uses about seeing the patterns is about or is the same method I use in my e-z pick system I call it for the 3 and 4 game.
Have not thought wether I am scrying numbers at times or not. Need to reread and understand better what scrying is wether I do it or not

                      Jap69:

Probably you needn't do much wondering about the issue of skrying.  After reading your posts and blog for a while it seems to me you have a handle on number behavior as well as anyone on LP, better than anyone else is admitting to having, anyway.  Probably skrying won't improve things much for you, if you aren't doing it already.

It's not obvious the Mystical Forumistos (and Forumistas) are doing better picking numbers than the folks up on the Lottery Systems forum.

I'm sort of hoping you'll just keep honing down your knowledge and skills in the more conventional approaches and sharing what you learn.
