    wherever you are, in the spreadsheet, at the time you SAVE it, should be the spot you will be in when you re-open it

      Lottaloot,

       I never had that happen, but I'm giving the best advice you will ever get about Excel. Go to WWW.Mrexcel.com , sign up and post your message. Someone will answer you. Remember to bookmark it for the future. Everytime I have an Excel question, I go there.

      Good Luck,

      Bob

              Did you "freeze panes" on that worksheet?  That option is under "Window, Freeze Panes."  If you have certain cells, say, Column A or Column B frozen, so that when you scroll right, they always stay on screen, this can screw it up.

              If that's the case, you need to use the scroll bars to move around the page instead of the keyboard arrows, enter key, tab or anything else.

                This can happen from 1 of the 4 cases;

                1) Press the CNTRL key and the Left Arrow Key

                2) Press Home key

                3) When Num Lock is OFF, hitting either the 7 key or CNTRL + 4 key

                4) And the fourth case is classified as "Crap happens"

                Sorry.

                Sir Metro
