Everyone, this is the CA SLP "pigskin challenge" new thread for 10/8/05. It doesn't matter what the jackpot is, but lets see who predicts the best in this round of the CA SLP challenge. Way back in the day we used to run a Pigskin Challenge, named after LP Member 'pigskin' choosing 10 white balls and 3 mega balls from PB.

Everyone, the CA SLP challenge is to choose up to 10 WBs out of 47 and 3 MBs out of 27. There's a twist too. Instead of the best pick from MM and PB, the brackets [] are used for up to 5 WBs for a total of 15 WBs and up to 2 MBs for a total of 5 MBs just in case two or more players are tied as the best predictor in the 10 WBs/3 MBs CA SLP pigskin challenge. If only one player is the best predictor in 10 WBs/3 MBs, then the tiebreaker isn't necessary.

My 10 WBs: 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 14, 18, 21, 29, 32 [5, 25, 30, 31, 35 as tiebreakers]

My 3 MBs: 3, 6, 14 [4, 25 as tiebreakers]

    White Numbers: 05-11-12-18-19-26-29-31-35-42  [2-27-36-41-46]

    Mega Numbers: 09-18-23  [7-20]

The brackets [] are used for up to 5 WBs for a total of 15 WBs and up to 2 MBs for a total of 5 MBs just in case two or more players are tied as the best predictor in the 10 WBs/3 MBs CA SLP pigskin challenge as the tiebreaker. If two or more players are tied as the best predictor in the 10 WBs/3 MBs and doesn't improve in the 15 WB/5 MBs, then they'll share the win as the best predictors. If only one player is the best predictor in 10 WBs/3 MBs, then the tiebreaker will not be needed. The drawing will be in about 33 hours so other people have a chance to predict.

Down, I predicted 3 as one of my MBs because it's been 156 draws since the last Mega Number hit. I either want to see Mega 3 hit or WB 6 and Mega 6 hit in the same draw during CA SLP.

The winning numbers are 13-27-36-43-44 and Mega 7. Here are the fantasy results:

              JKING: 2+0 [27, 44] under 10/3 format and 3+0 under 15/5 format [27, 43, 44]

              delores247: 0+0 in both 10/3 and 15/5 format

              Down: 0+0 under 10/3 format and 2+1 under 15/5 format [WB 27, WB 36, and Mega 7]

              Just6ntlc: 0+0 in both 10/3 and 15/5 format

JKING wins this match with 2+0 under 10/3 format. If we went to a 15/5 format, JKING would improve with 3+0 and Down would have improved to 2+1. Both delores 247 and I didn't improve in 15/5 format. Delores247, whenever you play my CA SLP challenge, make sure all of your MBs are 27 or less.
