As of this afternoon, Delaware's lottery website is announcing that you can now view the number of winners for the last drawing.  Please, someone, look at these numbers and tell me I have not fallen into the De Lotto twilight zone, where I would absolutely expect to find the Lemons waiting to greet me with open arms and full pockets.

Maybe I read this information wrong.  Delaware is the second smallest state, but this cannot be accurate.

i did notice it.  remember that De has a very small population too.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

      That's a nice feature.

For those interested, here's a link to the Pick 3 number of winners, for example:

Can you expound on that. I'm a little slow. I went to the site, what do you see that's weird?

It is possible that a great amount of people in Delaware love to gamble. What do I know?

Since it is all stored in a database, size shouldn't matter. MM is huge and they can spit numbers out down to the number of draws, and the numbers within those draws, on each ticket. Its all about having a developer and a processor to handle the manipulations.

          Cheers

This is incredible. I drive to Delaware every once in awhile to pick up Powerball tickets. I can't believe that all of those people that I have seen buying tickets can be such losers. And so many of them seem to be cashing in when I'm there. I have notice that there aren't as many places to play. In Maryland, every other convenient store, gas station, supermarket and all of the liquire stores sell lottery.

I must be going cross-eyed reading all these posts.

I see a type-o:  "Number of winners" should read "Winning numbers"

It seems as if Play 4 is the more popular game. That's unusual, as 3-digit games are usually more popular.

You know...I was thinking the same thing......I knew the numbers in the boxes represented the Winning numbers and not the amount of winners. But I wasn't sure because I thought I was overlooking something. You are right.

See..you did the same thing...thinking those numbers represented the amount of winners.

                    That's exactly what I did....

Hey Pacattack05  -    It's the numbers -  for example, 3 winners for a play 3 night drawing (50 cent play straight).    As a daily player, my reaction is kneejerk and almost certainly premature, since they just opened this feature on the website today.   On virtually a daily basis, for the last 13-14 years, I have had interaction with or have witnessed lottery players being paid for wins just in our community.   That said, the information posted about the quantity of winners for these 2 draws seems absurd to me.

In all fairness, I  need to give this a few days to see what develops.   It has only taken nearly 30 years for the Delaware lottery to take a single step towards catching up with the rest of the lottery states.

Oh, the Play 4 winners are actually the winning numbers. But still, more winners than Indiana.

I'm just a poor ole country girl who can't imagine the liquor stores down here selling lottery tickets.  It's like walking into a sanctuary, it's so prestine.  The state run all of our liquor stores. Geez.
