weshar, I'm happy to see PB finally get a bonus prize pool in the game. Do you agree or disagree that PB will roll in the next draw next Saturday?

The only time I like it to roll is when I have not gotten a prize from the 9 ways to win.  I think it will be hit on wednesday but you never know.

That 13 million seems like a good incentive to play. Coming in second would be nice prize.

The $13 million Match 5 is $27 million annuity taken away from the jackpot....the advertised jackpot would've been $365-370 million otherwise.

Yeah, assuming someone hits the jackpot too.  Although one cannot complain about winning just $200,000.

Glad people are starting to figure it out. If it rolls again it would have broken 400 but will remain below it due to the cap. Also the bonus is only paid out if there is a jackpot winner so if it rolls the people will only win 200k unless they purchased Powerplay. I don't know of any other game where the focus is on the second prize and not the first prize. I guess we'll have to look at the sales when Mega breaks 400 to see which game gets more sales which management had the better decision.

                  Very interesting point, I think.
Makes a historically rare incidence suddenly come to my mind.

                  Just a few months ago...

In an Italian lotto called Super Enalotto(6/90),  the odds of hitting jackpot is approximately 1 in 622 millions and the second 1 in 100 millions. Hew!!!

On June 25, 2005, when the jackpot was hit at 6M euros, the second prize pool was about twice as much if my memory is correct. After several rollovers in both levels, the second prize was finally hit at 28M euros on August 16. At that time, not surprisingly the accumulated jackpot was much smaller than the second.

It seems that in the world of lottery anything can happen, no matter how rare it might be.

In this PB run, I expect the second prize pool would add more fun to the already exciting game.

Good luck to all for this Wednesday night drawing!

This jackpot would have been $180 million cash, $371 million annuitized without the Pool Rule! Grrr.

Now, I may change my tune if it's hit and I'm a 5+0 winner!

I would be happy even if it was just $200,000 for coming in second, but this is much better. lol.

I find it very interesting to imagine any psycholigcal state of mind when a player finds his/her ticket with 5+0, right after the drawing but surely before knowing the existence of any jackpot winner(s).

I thik that's another interesting point of PB Match 5 Bonus Prize Pool.

You can always ease your frame of mind by using PowerPlay!  At least you'll have $400,000 if not more!

Match 5 bonus prize pool adjusted again to $20 million cash today and it will probably go up more at the draw time.
