The $13 million Match 5 is $27 million annuity taken away from the jackpot....the advertised jackpot would've been $365-370 million otherwise.
Glad people are starting to figure it out. If it rolls again it would have broken 400 but will remain below it due to the cap. Also the bonus is only paid out if there is a jackpot winner so if it rolls the people will only win 200k unless they purchased Powerplay. I don't know of any other game where the focus is on the second prize and not the first prize. I guess we'll have to look at the sales when Mega breaks 400 to see which game gets more sales which management had the better decision.

Very interesting point, I think.
Makes a historically rare incidence suddenly come to my mind.
Just a few months ago...
In an Italian lotto called Super Enalotto(6/90), the odds of hitting jackpot is approximately 1 in 622 millions and the second 1 in 100 millions. Hew!!!
On June 25, 2005, when the jackpot was hit at 6M euros, the second prize pool was about twice as much if my memory is correct. After several rollovers in both levels, the second prize was finally hit at 28M euros on August 16. At that time, not surprisingly the accumulated jackpot was much smaller than the second.
It seems that in the world of lottery anything can happen, no matter how rare it might be.
In this PB run, I expect the second prize pool would add more fun to the already exciting game.
Good luck to all for this Wednesday night drawing!

I find it very interesting to imagine any psycholigcal state of mind when a player finds his/her ticket with 5+0, right after the drawing but surely before knowing the existence of any jackpot winner(s).
I thik that's another interesting point of PB Match 5 Bonus Prize Pool.
