I would like to say congrats to the winner in Oregon and I had a $15 winner tonight but not the big one.  Better luck next time!

I hope they turn out better than Jack Whittaker.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

$32,000,000+ was the match 5 bonus.

This would of created the first $400,000,000 jackpot if there was no cap.

Jack was a case. Man, Oregon's way out there from me here in KY. Congrats to them though :) I can't wait to see what they're like. Hopefully better than Jack and the bunch that came with him to claim the prize LOL

LOL.  Congrats to the Oregon winner, I suppose.

Maybe they're an Oregon donor, haha.

Guess it's off to work for me.

Congrats!!!  It was an exciting run!  Now on to Mega Millions!  My prayers are with the winner(s), hopefully they will stay out of the public's view.  The excitement and news will be old quickly, so if they can hold out and stay low, people will soon forget there was a $340m winner.  Go enjoy yourself/life!!!!!!!!!!!  Yes!

I agree delS...hopefully the winner can stay low and enjoy their winnings. I got so sick of tired of seeing Jack-I really think he wanted to see how long he can stay in the spotlight. When the national news heavily covered the granddaughter's death and other problems the family had (didn't he get robbed before or something?), that came to show how much they stuck around after winning Powerball. If I was right, I think the news had stories about them in my area (maybe since KY borders WV) everyday for 2 weeks straight after winning. I've heard stories of people who won alot like he did (two examples- the single guy from Idaho and the sergeant in NM) but claimed their prize, smiled for the media and then went on with their life. The Idaho winner was on a talk show or two but he was humble about it. Jack on the other hand, became a story in himself.

Jack was robbed 3 times.  I have a feeeling the Oregon winner will fade into the sun.

I think so too-I don't hear much about Oregon LOL so maybe the winner will do the same :)

Congratulations to the Oregon Winner of 340 million. I was pleased about the 32+ million into the Match 5 bonus pool where 49 other tickets take home 850K. Lets hope the Oregon winner doesn't have problems as Whitaker done now.

I posted this in another topic but throught it would be good here as well-since we're talking about Jack's past LOL

Speaking of good ol' Jack, the local news had a little piece on the Powerball and was talking about the jackpot. The story was on how it was better to not win Powerball at all because of what problems could arise-the first example they used? Well, no other than JW. They first had a video of him claiming the prize with family and audience around and then a more recent pic of him, unshaven and confused-looking. The reporter said he had been charged with drunken driving, sexual assault, was robbed and lost his granddaughter, all after winning the Powerball. Guess it comes to show money don't bring happiness sometimes

Whittaker was probably a jerk before he won Powerball - winning just made him even jerkier.
