When I don't use computer lottery programs, 2 to about 30 to 40 last draws are enough for either straight or boxed predictions.
2 to 10 last draws are good enough for boxed predictions.
10 to 40 last draws are best for straight order predictions.
When using some computer programs for straight order predictions it is best to have from at least 40 last draws to up to no more than 1, 000 to 2, 000 last draws, about 1, 500 are plenty enough.
Seeing patterns on lottery numbers is not so hard, it is easy to learn, it just takes some study and time, after a while you will not only see patterns, but you might even see way too many of them like me, I have trouble not seeing patterns as I see way too many of them more often than not, you might say that I myself make the patterns.
I work so little on the lottery nowdays, as I almost never make numbers any more, I don't gamble and yet it is so easy for me to do filter prediction workouts, with and also without lottery software.
But I still keep on getting new prediction ideas every so often, but for the most part I just ignore them, as I won't be buying any lottery tickets for quite a while longer.
But there are 3 new prediction ideas that I do want to check out sometime during the next few weeks, they might be good things to try.
One is a new kind of skip workout, the other two have to do with pattern changes of the winning numbers from one draw to another.

lantern, you sound like a person whom the government sent up for some hidden dark secret manipulation of numbers.
If the government (Or somebody from them) is studing lottery randomness and prediction (And they perhaps might be (?) ) it is not thru me.
No, I am neither from the government nor do I have anything to do with them.
I can say that I am not overly fond of politicians, the military and state lotteries.
It was said that, "The meek shall inherit the Earth", I am much more in agreement with that, than with the present world's situation.
I am a U.S.A citizen, but we are all citizens of the world also and that is much more important, I think.
As to the hidden, dark and secret manipulation of numbers.
Well, maybe some might be hidden, But dark ? I don't think so ! Manipulation of numbers ? Yes, indeed, there is a lot of that, of course.
If the stuff was so dark and or hidden, would I have posted so much about it as I have ?
Have you seen my filters posts ? There are many of them, I have kept few things hidden so far.
I should had kept everything hidden, but I don't know no better.

The following is from Guru:
Lotto draws are random but randomness itself is an organized system. Analysis does not work properly because one can not distinguish real patterns from false ones. Randomness should better be discribed as "RANDOM = INFINITE COMPLEX ORDER"
Few people understand Random, Guru is such a one.
For the most part I agree with that statement of his, but I would make the following change to it:
"RANDOM = Very COMPLEX ORDER, appears to be infinite"
As to the next words of his, I would just leave them out:
Analysis does not work properly because one can not distinguish real patterns from false ones.
His next words are very interesting:
Lotto synchronizer outputs a solution string for a random event. This enables the prog to pick its numbers.

Hi!
No problema señor, somebody once said that "We are all pawns on the game of life"
Of Mice and Men and Cats and Dogs, state lotteries might think of us as mice, but some mice are turning into cats, more and more are little by little, it is the only way to go.
Taurus Fernando or Ferdinand the Bull. (Full of Bull ?, Maybe !).
