Hi Everyone,

What do you feel is the best system-- software or on paper-- for Pick5?  What do you use that has impressed you?

Thanks!

    Hi Greg,i don't have a particular method or software,what i do is take the numbers from the last draw and use math equation to get my numbers,i have never hit 5 but i got 4 right several times and 3 right several times and 2 right most of the time so it is a up and down sort of thing for me but hopeful,goodluckPumpkin

      Thanks Delores.  I use software myself but have been luckier hitting 4/6 in the PIck 6 than 4/5 in the Pick 5 which I never hit.

          I studied the pick 5 for years before I got into the pick 3.

          This will offend many people, but when you're playing high odds games like that I think you are better off with quick picks (preferrably your own, not their machine's). I do just as well with quick picks as I did with all my charts and hours of studying the game.

          When I say quick picks, I mean eliminating some numbers from the mix that you don't think have a snowball's chance in hell of coming in today and using a RNG with the rest of the numbers. For example, one repeat digit from last game happens about 50% of the time, but eliminating those five digits from today's picks lowers your odds by about 50%.

          Just my opinion.

          Delores' math application to the last number drawn sounds interesting.

          Posted 4/6:  IL Pick 3 midday and evening until they hit:  555, 347 (str8).

            Since PowerBall and MegaMillions are really pick5 games with a Bonus ball game, the system you use to win in those games should work equally well for any pick5 games.  Some of those systems are discussed in the jackpot section.

                I'm interested in your Math Equation Delores, if you don't mind me butting in

                I won 4 out of 5 day before yesterday for the first time.  Ive picked 3 several times. but this was a fluke, I was driving to the line (MO, I live in ARkansas) just after going to the dentist, and was think about my dad alot, he use to buy me an ice cream after I went to the dentist. I was looking at my pick 4 work out and his birthday popped out at me.  So I added his birthday to the Show-me 5 ticket I only had 3 picks on, from my lotto logic program ( not lottery logics ) That seems the only times I win, seeing a number a couple of times in a day, then playing it.

                Anyway, midday MO had 3, 12, 27, 38 and 44.

                    Maybe. There's a big difference in strategy between a 5/56 MM game and Connecticut's 5/35.

                          Yes, I noticed and I would love to have a way to contact those winners to see if they selected their own numbers of if they quickpicked..

                            PumpkinHi Greg,here is my solution for your game:

                            12=03-30-

                            21=same as above

                            22=4-13-

                            24=6-15-33

                            40-same as above.This is the way i use to get numbers to play for a game,now if you would permit greg,i would like to say to the others players,itscarie,and Barbara Ann68 the solution to their games is the same method with the last drawing for your state using this equation you can choose your numbers,wishing all players the best of luck.
