Per the OK lottery website.

http://www.lottery.ok.gov/

This is good news for me. I'll only have to drive an hour to the OK border instead of 3 hours to Shreveport, LA the next time powerball gets over 300 Million.

This isn't exactly new news, but this is the first I've heard of it. I missed the previous post regarding this (guess I'm a bit behind on reading posts)...

      tx:

And you only have to be 18 to buy Oklahoma Lottery tickets. You know it's 21 in Louisiana.

I'm happy that Oklahoma is going to start PB in 2006. I'm happy that people have to be 18 in OK to buy PB tickets, but not happy that LA people have to be 21 to play PB tickets. I'm glad that 30% of the sales will go to education. Good luck to OK in winning PB jackpots.

January 14, 2006 is a Saturday. In OK Powerball tickets probably will go on sale two days prior.

I hope Oklahoma wins their PB Jackpot on their first attempt. Good luck to Oklahoma and all states playing PB. Good luck to you Tx_Mega_Player in terms of buying PB tickets effective 1/12/2006 [sales start].

8 days until the first day of sales for OK.  I hope that they buy alot of tickets to make the jackpots bigger for me to win.
