State lottery officials say sales of the new Pick-3 tickets are trailing sales of scratch-off lottery games. The Pick-3 game began last Thursday and after six days sales totaled just more than 488-thousand dollars. First day sales were 160-thousand dollars, but the average since has been about 65-thousand-500 dollars a day in sales for the tickets in which players can win 50- to 500-dollars by matching numbers to three numbers drawn in a nightly drawing. I wonder if pick 3 does any better in other states? Where is the higher pay-off lotto games ?
